 Very Happy

 New  pics  comin'  up  soon.

I  just  got  a  new  tank  soon  and  am  busy  setting  it  up.  Wish  i  had  gotten  it  sooner,  would've  cycled  it  and  kept  it  ready  for  the  trips  catch.

I  have  barbs  in  mind  this  time,  and  spiny  eels  and  more  killies.

update  on  the  badis  -  they're  all  doing  great,  eating  well  and  showing  plenty  of  colour,  as  far  as  i  can  see  there  are  4  males  and  3  females,  but  at  this  size  i'm  not  sure.

I've  kept  one  trio  consisting  of  the  largest  male  and  two  females  in  a  2x1x1  native  tank,  and  the  other  three  in  another  2x1x1,  both  are  well  planted,  plenty  of  hiding  spots,  they  share  both  tanks  with  Hara  cats,  killies,  Esomus  and  shrimps.

Let  me  tell  you  one  one  thing  for  above:  We  don't  have  any  proper  team  mates  for  anything.

You  always  have  the  option  of  going  solo.   There's  always  a  jungle  out  there,  go...take  some  pics  and  get  back.   If  you  don't  have  a  camera  just  as  me,  just  go  there  ID  some  of  the  fishes  and  post  a  thread.   Later  you  should  be  having  a  few  companions  buzzing  around.

"One  man  Army"  is  not  applicable  everywhere.

In  Kolkata  you  will  have  lots  of  senior  aquarists  with  a  huge  practical  fishkeeping  knowledge.  But  no  one  will  be  there  to  take  the  initiative  or  resposibility.  Just  take  an  example  of  my  Planted  Tank  Event  and  you  will  get  the  answer.

How  the  thread  started  and  how  badly  it  was  ended!

And  unless  we  get  a  group  of  eshtablished  like  minded  people  arround,  it's  not  possible  to  go  for  something  permanent  like  a  hobbiest  club.  In  West  Bengal  Student  power  is  the  biggest  power,  but  they  all  will  be  scattered  within  years.  If  there  were  only  a  handfull  students,  was  it  possible  to  start  ASK??  You  are  the  better  person  to  tell  me  how  to  proceed..
