I  believe  that  in  unsuitable  conditions  Marsilea  takes  more  time  to  grow.  Most  probably  your  friend  will  see  a  miniature  growth  pattern  where  the  plant  shrinks  in  its  size  due  to  the  unsuitability.  Looks  good  but  takes  a  hell  lot  of  time.

What  is  the  suitable  condition????   Confused

 Thanks  Devda  for  the  advice.
 Thanks  Shameekda  for  your  appreciation.
Tirthada, what  ever  I  have  read  over  the  net, talked  to  people  and  from  my  limited  10  day  experience  I  can  say:-
1.Each  stem  of  Marselia  needs  to  be  planted  separately  like  Glosso  ,1-2cm  apart, with  the  stem  tips  just  protruding  out  of  the  surface.
2.As  Jayaseelan  and  even  Harshal  told  me  cutting  the  old  leaves  increases  the  growth. Its  very  true.I  have  experienced  it  in  reality.
3.Co2  injection  and  high  light  ,needless  to  say  speeds  up  the  growth.

I  believe  your  friend  may  try  cutting  the  old  leaves.Believe  me  Harshal  told  me  and  it  worked  like  a  charm  for  me.Although  I  donot  have  a  perfect  Marselia  growth, they  are  tall  but  still  the  growth  is  too  fast.

I  haven't  yet  dosed  anything  so  I  guess  high  light  with  little  bit  of  co2  and  cutting  of  old  leaves  are  the  tricks.

Friends, with  all  your  suggestions  my  planted  tank  is  getting  along  nicely. No  camera  right  now  since  my  friend  whose  mobile  camera  I  used  to  use  is  out  of  station  for  a  couple  of  days. Will  be  uploading  the  20th  day  pics. But  please  help  me  choose  the  fauna.I  am  utterly  confused  Confused   Confused  .The  tank  now  has  only  4  ottos.Sometimes  I  think  I'll  go  for  Harlequin  Rasboras  ,then  I  switch  to  cardinals. Then  I  start  thinking  about  Bosemoni  Rainbows.Think  I  am  lost.Even  in  utter  confusion  was  browsing  through  the  care  needed  for  Altum  Angels  ROFL  .Now  really  I  have  started  to  laugh  on  myself.Seems  like  even  a  180  gallon  tank  wont  suffice  my  dreams.Help  please  to  choose  fauna.Final  picture  that  I  have  is  a  school  of  10  Harlequins  with  4-5  Bosemoni  Rainbows. Please  suggest.

Friends...here's  my  16th  day  update. Some  of  the  plants  like  Heteranthera  Zostrefolia,Rotala  Rotundifolia,Ludwigia  Repens  have  done  exceptionally  well. But  the  show  stopper  are  my  HM.Was  successful  to  only  a  few  of  them. But  they  have  grown  like  weed.Already  had  a  trim. Now  the  front  right  hand  side  is  about  to  be  filled  by  them.Really  happy.  Cheering   Cheering  But  there  have  been  failures  too.Ammania  Gracilis  (as  was  told  by  the  seller  )now  appears  to  be  hygrophila  Corymbosa. They  were  green  and  are  even  green  now.Due  to  lack  of  knowledge  bought  Red  Hygrophila  from  Kolathur. They  seem  to  be  Alternanthera  Reinckerii.Tough  plant  .Due  to  deficiency  in  iron  content  ,the  leaves  are  falling  off.Don't  know  how  long  can  I  keep  them?

Oh....Sad   News.Today  lost  one  of  the  4  ottos....  Crying or Very sad

Here's  the  pics  of  my  16  day  short  story.
