I  loved  it  when  the  Forest  guard  came  to  look  in  Nayak's  car  and  he  had  a  loaded  car  of  fish  and  nets.  Nothing  was  caught  from  the  forest  area  but  it  was  the  moment.  Also  happy  the  cast  net  actually  came  out  pretty  much  in  a  circle.  Was  a  good,  fun  and  hot  day.  Must  tell  the  ones,  its  serious  hard  work.

You  Have  no  Idea  Marc..  it  was  just  too  great.
Sorry  guys,  my  update  is  coming  a  bit  late..  First  of  all,  the  fishes  and  rainbow  shrimps  are  safe  and  sound..
I  was  really  exhausted  to  update  on  the  return,  and  the  Sankranthi  festival  pre-occupied  me  today..
Fishes  are  yet  to  settle  down..  will  give  them  few  days  more  and  update  with  photos..
Thanks  to  all  the  guys,  who  made  this  trip  a  moment  to  cherish  for  a  long,  long  time..

Ha  ha  Yes.....  The  forest  guard  had  the  same  reaction  that  the  guards  in  the  movie  'Matrix'  had  when  he  passes  through  the  metal  detector  with  all  those  weapons.
I  am  sure  that  the  guard  went  back  on  he  road  to  see  if  somebody  has  replaced  the  "fishing  not  allowed"  board  to  "No  fishing  not  allowed"  ROFL   ROFL

Also  the  lunch  was  awesome  we  needed  it  after  the  Badis  hunt.
It  seemed  as  if  the  Badis  heard  Deepakg's  live  food  culture,Nayak's  fish  room,Binesh's  shrimp  heaven  and  cinciboy's  huge  tank  that  they  were  running  into  the  net...  It  was  great  catching  them  when  we  knew  that  they  where  going  to  such  great  places.
\But  above  all  the  priceless  thing  on  that  matter  was  Deepakg's  excitement  when  we  netted  each  of  them

 Madhu,

No  Channas,  Oryzias  dancena  and  only  one  each  of  Aplocheilus  lineatus  and  A.  blockii.

Was  discussing  with  Marc  how  suddenly  we  could  find  Badis  badis  and  it's  impact  on  the  declining  population  of  Killies  and  O.dancena?

 Regards,

Nayak  we  spotted  C.  marulius  when  we  went  away  from  the  bridge  towards  the  ripple  portion  of  the  rive.  About  6"-8"  size.  They  were  in  really  deep  waters.
