I have been keeping Goldfishes for a long time, will share with you what i have learned in this hobby
!)Goldfish are prone to swim bladder disease, specially with large round stomach
2)In my experience best feed for goldfish would be homemade Gel feed, you can find receipies on the net or on www.gab.com
3)Keep all your fishes in Bare bottom tanks, since Goldfishes are messy eaters
4) Most important, change80%water twice a week if possible, this will keep your fishes in best health
If you need any further information do write to me

You have arrived just in time. Now my second pearlscale is acting weird. Hes been toppling and finding it hard to swim now. I have quarantined him to a separate tank. Is there anything that I can do to help him?
Shishir, somehow i feel the link that you provided is not correct. Its opening a link called Greater Atlantic Bank. Could you please reconfirm the right address.
Do you make special home made Gel feed for your fish? If yes , how?
Do you feed them bloodworms from normal LFS or do you homegrow them?
Is it true that too much aeration from airstone is bad for black moor?
Is it unwise to have gravel in the tank? because I thought that for conversion of harmful ammonia to nitrate and stuff you need bacteria growing in the gravel. So please correct me if I am doing it wrong. because i wanna get things right.

And like you said I do perform 80% water change twice a week and use the gravel siphon to remove all sorts of wastes that the goldfish produce in the tank. Please provide all tips you could think of because I want to provide optimum environment for the fish.

What is the size of the tank in which they are living.
Goldfish are very high metabolic fish and need lot of room to live, 10-12 gallon per fish is optimal for them.
Anything less than that and you start having problems sooner or later.
Further they need a good amount of veggiies in their diet, blanched peas, palak etc. are good for them.
Fancy gold fish should not be mixed with shubunkin etc. fish with bulging eyes like black moor should be alone, no sharp decorations, no fast fish with them.
Too much aeration is never a problem in the tank.
