 +1000  to  Suraj.

From  my  experience  with  Hyundai  car,  my  BIL's  tata  India  V2,  and  with  some  of  my  friends  experience  on  day  to  day  life,  almost  all  fare  well,  if  we  care  enough.

My  BIL  was  coaxing  me  for  a  non  TATA  car,  as  he  said  his  diesel  gives  him  more  service  expenses;  but  my  petrol  also  gives  the  same  over  a  period  of  time.

Hence  it  all  depends  on  personal  liking  first;  if  you  like  something,  you  just  ignore  the  minor  this  and  thats!!

All  the  best  buddy   Thumb Up

 Regards

 Hi  Guys,

I  have  been  having  an  Indica  V2  for  over  8  years....  when  it  come  to  value  for  money  nothing  can  beat  it,  may  it  be  space  inside,  performance  etc.  It  still  gives  me  17  km  per  litre  of  diesel.

It  is  also  not  high  maintenance  ......  but  it  is  comparatively  nosier     (probably  the  new  ones  are  better)  and  the  old  ones  have  front  suspension  problem...  primarily  with  ends  and  disc  bends.  we  could  say  it  is  due  to  weight  of  the  car  and  probably  the  roads  in  Mangalore.

I  feel  it  is  relatively  safe  vehicle  during  accidents.....  the  fatalities  are  much  lower  at  least  in  our  zone.

The  people  who  have  an  negative   impression  is  probably  due  to  the  styling  and  due  to  performance  of  Incica  launch  model  (the  first)

the  indica  is  quite  a  safe  car
our  indica  has  taken  quite  a  few  hits  and  still  is  our  oldest  car  in  the  garage

head  on  collision  with  a  bus,  people  in  the  car  come  out  safe

a  loaded  truck  comes  and  slams  from  the  side  every  one  is  safe

brother  and  friends  ram  the  indigo  head  on  into  a  wagonr,  100+,  the  wagonr  is  towed,  the  indigo  is  towed,  apart  froma  few  bruises  everyone  in  the  indigo  safe,  the  poor  wagonr  guy  was  admitted  to  the  hospital,  to  recover  much  later

the  first  2  we(family)  were  in  the  indica

the  last  one  is  where  we  weren't  in  the  indica

i  drove  the  safari  at  90kmph  into  an  indica  at  a  crossing,  the  indica  was  pushed  off  the  road  and  into  the  walls  of  infosys,  the  people  in  the  car  were  quite  safe

and  about  the  crumpling,  indica  qualifies  ISO  2000,  thus  the  car  is  designed  to  have  a  crucible  chasis  hence  making  the  car  to  absorb  much  of  the  shock

 Thanks  guys  for  the  feedback.

Also  these  cars  are  not  being  sold  as  taxi.  When  i  had  gone  to  the  showroom  someone  from  a  Transport  industry  asked  for  Indica  Vista  and  the  dealer  insisted  him  on  buying  V2.  That  shows  that  TATA  don't  want  to  see  this  Indica  in  a  Taxi  image  but  only  a  family  car.

 @  Suraj
Thanks.  In  this  Solar  Orange  colour,  when  the  car  is  in  direct  sunlight  the  colour  appears  golden  and  when  in  shade  it  appears  red.
