I have had bad experience with carpet animones previously. It killed a yellow tang in my tank. I dont know where to get soft corals from besides as per my knowledge corals require exteremly controlled water parameters and good lightning. |

Apurva, don't ask silly questions
You guys stay in Mumbai and ask us where to get your tank inhabitants
I would advise you to go for some coralline algae cultures with some live rocks! |

Dude if u ever come to bombay go around in all the shops u have heard of and show me one shop which even have dead live rocks. Arre these mumbai LFS are only interested in fish and maximum animones. Its even tough to find live rocks, forget polyps and soft corals hehe |

Try your hands on some MMLR i.e. Man made live rocks.... Get a small culture of Live rocks and seed your MMLR with it...
As to where to get the LR / Polyps etc... aquascape has the answer for you in the post above....
I am thinking if you paid close to around 10XXX for artificial corals ...wondering whats the price of real ones ! ..should be a lot cheaper...
Also how old is this setup.
Cheers

Hi Apurva ,
A real good collectio.
But I want say something...Pls. never mind it's my personal opinion....
1st - Pictures are not up to the mark.
2nd - U spend lot money and effort for this tank. But truely speaking it's look very much "Artificial'.
It should looks like under sea water.....U have to think & try feel ....just close u'r eyes &
imagine...
Anyway keep it up.....
Regards |
