Ashish  if  you  use  a  rosetail  female  betta  the  new  generation  will  be  vertical  like  V2  rocket  when  the  are  just  one  year  old.  Ideally  ..  they  should  be  swimming  till  they  die.  That  will  be  two  to  three  years.  Very Happy

I  will  rather  go  with  a  short  fin  HM  female.  If  you  ask  my  opinion.  Just  to  balance  the  new  generation.

 Its  my  humble  opinion.  Smile

What  do  you  mean  by  short  fin  Deepak?  Plakat?

I  would  say  go  for  a  female  with  less  branching.

Ashish,  In  the  case  of  my  fish,  it  was  a  bit  extreme,  to  the  point  that  it  became  difficult  for  the  guy  to  come  up  to  breathe.
The  maintenance  schedule  for  this  fish,  was  siphoning  twice  daily  and  alternate  day  80-90%  Water  Changes.

All  the  HM  gals  I  have,  have  good  branching  and  are  sort  of  overhalfmoons..  Sad
Based  on  what  you  guys  are  suggesting,  I  think  i  should  get  my  hands  on  a  HMPK  female  to  balance  out  the  further  spawns..

Also,  note  that  not  even  one  of  these  pictures  are  that  i  have  posted  are  in  Full  Flare..  :D

Had  kept  the  full  flaring  pictures  for  the  end  Wink
 will  post  soon..

@Prabu  :  Your  pick  can  not  go  wrong..  Wink  I  do  feel  that  the  caudal  is  still  growing,  as  i  can  see  blackened  edges  which  is  a  sign  of  growth.  Do  you  also  think  it  is  8  months  old?

 Beautiful  female.  Looks  balanced.
can't  you  manage  a  little  less  branching.  Please  post  here  so  Shubhankar  can  give  his  opinions.
