 Should  be  close  to  3  feet  though  I  have  never  seen  one  so  big.  It  must  be  quite  interesting  to  see  it  change  its  pattern  as  it  grows.

 @Natrery

 Channa  Marulius  is  the  largest  of  the  snake  heads,  they  are  present  in  the  Periyar  river  in  Kerala  the  numbers  are  dwindling  these  days.

 You  can  see  a  picture  of  juvenile  about   6  inches  size,  adults  are  quite  spectacular.

The  "Crypt"  looks  more  like  Potamogeton  crispus.
 Channa  fry  likely  to  be  Channa  marulius.  The  eel  looks  like  Mastacembelus  armatus  and  the  last  one  is  Barilius  gatensis.

 And  the  catfish?  Razz

 I  was  just  puzzled  why  the  Xylo  was  struggling  to  go  up  hill,  that  too  in  the  hands  of  Madan.   You  literally  blew  up  the  a/c  almost  making  that  turbo  charged  suv  just  like  an  Omni  Van.

 Preetham  that  80  odd  Channa  fry  will  make  you  the  number  one  individual  fish  catcher  by  sheer  numbers  alone.

 Congrats  on  getting  to  the  Numero  uno  spot.  This  record  will  take  a  long  time  to  beat.

 Dinesh  Has  named  Preetham  "The  Lucky  Star"  and  he  wanted  the  The  Lucky  Star  to  catch  some  shrimps  for  him!  Chuckle

 I  still  Remember  the  Conversation
 Dinesh  says  "  Preetham,  put  your  net  here  and  see  if  can  catch  sumthing,  you  are  a  Lucky  Star"
 Preetham  says  "  If  there  is  nothing  there  what  will  i  catch"  Chuckle  ...

 @dinesh
 You  must  have  started  a  shrimp  Pickle  company  as  Trevor  said!  ROFL

 I  have  43  channa  marulius  Fry   Shocked  ...  Surprised

 Rufus  should  be  complimented  for  finding  the  Eagle  feather  that  brought  us  all  the  luck.  ROFL

 What's  the  plant  in  Trevor's  bucket  picture,  it  looks  like  a  Potomogetonsp,  but  I  am  not  sure,  it  could  be  a  Juncus  sp.

 It's  truly  aquatic,  it  is  not  a  terrestrial  grass.
