I recently brewed my PMDD. I couldn't locate Micrsol-B anywhere near Lucknow, so I used Multi-Micro nutrient fertilizer. It contains:
Zinc - 6%
Iron - 3%
Manganese - 2%
Boron - 1%
Cooper - 1%
It says it also contains Jibrelichk acid (????????????), Sulphur, Magnesium, Calcium chlorine, Nitrogen, Potash, Phosphorus, Molybdenum, Cobalt, etc.
This is a Hindi to English translation so please bear with the wrong spellings.
Anyone knows Where I can source Microsol-B from Lucknow or near it ?

Awesome! I have always wanted to give planted tanks a try but have been too timid to try. I admire your perseverance. Care to share the details of your setup? Maybe I can think of something similar soon and look to you for guidance?

I have a 15 gal Tank 2*1*1 (l*b*h).CFL 45 Watts lighting. I a newbie only about 4-5 months into the hobby and being a DIY guy using a 2ltr DIY CO2 . I have gone through Chuck calculator and Tom's EI method of dosing and as branded ferilisers are really expensive in the longer so went on to make my own DIY aquarium fertiliser.
For this I used
1. KNO3 - Pottasium Nitrate
2. K2SO4 - Pottasium sulphate
3. KH2PO4 - Pottasium Phosphate
4. MgSO4 + 7H2O - Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salt)
For Trace elements I used SHAKTIMAN TONIK(yeah it SHAKTIMAN TONIK...Manufactured by FINO (INDIA) Agro Industries..Cover and package look cheap and the powder was like dry fish poo )
MULTI MICRONUTRIENT FERTILIZER contains things mentioned in the First post.
Using a mean between the existance of PPM of all the elements suggested by Tom and Chuck. I took a middle path and mixed in appropriate portion all the macro elements and the MULTI-MICRONUTRINTS FERTILIZER. I could not understand How much of this micro nutrient fertilizer is to be used so I put in one teaspoon. I used PH neutral water, for this used Battery water.
So mixed all the macro and micro things in 500 ml luke warm distilled water. I am planning to try this on a spare tank(same specifications) with some plants and a few guppies.
I am not sure what all these extra elements like Jibrelichk acid (Hindi word), Sulphur, Magnesium, Calcium chlorine(cholrine is gotta Hurt I'll use decholrinator. But is CALCIUM CHOLRINE-That is the best I could infer from the Hindi descriptions), Nitrogen, Potash, Phosphorus, Molybdenum, Cobalt, etc. Plus the content of Iron is way low, Zinc being really high at 6%, and cooper at 1% a little different form CSM+B and the Microsol-B solution.
The solution looked muddy earlier, now there are some undissolved salts(2 hrs after addin water) and mud like thing is settling. Making the solution at the top look transparent as seen through a sprite 600 ml bottle. Will dose and Keep you all people posted of the the effect on the plants, fish and algae growth. IF ANY... HOPE THIS THING WORKS OUT..
Anyone has any idea whether I am using the correct thing ? Please do enlighten me I am after all a newbie.
Also I do not know How to attach picture to the post as attachment(Once i was tryin but nothing happened). I'll keep tryin and IAHians Please tell me any suggestions as How I can make this solution better. Again If anyone knows from where I can source Microsol-B around Lucknow or Some one can courier me it would be very kind. Please PM the price and contacts if possible.

I dosed a few drops each day of this solution and I think it is working. There are no side effects of this as I cannot see any fish dying, except for one Pelco (which died without any rhyme or reason) another one is there with no side effects and all other Angels and Tetra are eating and growing fine.
There is noticed plant growth with cabomba carolina growing exceptionally fast though the leaves are rounded at the end. Riccia is also growing rapidly(took me 3-4 days to make a O2 bubbling carpet) under 3 Watts for around about 10 Hrs with DIY- (2 Ltr)C02. Even java fern windelov, Rotala rotundfila and macandra are pearling. Last few days I have noticed some hair algae on the glass, since then I have stopped dosing as my Co2 dispenser is also broke I will be discontinuing the dosing only continuing it after the Co2 diffuser is replaced. 50 % WC will be done in 2 weeks.
