Looks  like  you  got  the  list  from  http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/results.php?genus=55

But  many  pics  and  brief  descriptions  are  there  for  each  link.  Did  you  miss  them  by  any  chance?

 Hi  Frank,

As  far  as  I  know,  only  the  Burundis  are  commonly  available  here  in  India  and  I  doubt  if  anybody  has  a  non-burundi  front.  I  have  16  Burundis  in  my  212  Gallon  tank.

Here  is  a  pic  of  my  Alpha  -

and  here  is  a  video  of  my  Frontosa  Tank  -  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2faYW0IjSiY

Will  watch  this  thread  to  know  if  anybody  has  a  non-burundi  frontosa  in  India...

The  WC  Moba  colony  was  sold  off  a  few  years  back.  Dunno  who  has  it  now.
Adip  had  sold  quite  a  few  of  the  Zaire  blue  juveniles  too.

 Hi  Abhishek  and  Beta,

Wow,  thats  so  great  to  hear  !!!  Wish  I  could  get  a  few  non-burundis...

Beta  Sir  -  just  wanted  to  request  you  to  kindly  let  me  know  if  it  will  be  possible  to  track  the  Moba  colony's  owner  -  would  love  to  buy  some  babies...  Sir,  also  kindly  advice  if  Adip  still  has  a  few  babies  for  sale  or  if  he  sells  them  regularly...

Thanks  again  Friends  !  Wish  the  frontosa  was  more  commonly  kept  and  avilable  here  in  India...

I  am  new  to  this  forum.   I  live  across  the  pond  in  the  USA......Houston,  Texas.   I've  kept  fronts  since  1988  and  for  the  last  8  years  have  kept  zaires.   5  years  ago  I  started  keeping  a  colony  of  wc  mobas.

I  will  post  some  pics  shortly.

I  keep  them  in  a  6x2x2  Oceanic  180g  glass  tank.   I  have  2m/7f.   They  have  produced  well  over  500  F1  fry  in  the  past  5  years.   I  have  a  jet  black  female  that's  been  black  for  5  years  and  spawns  fry  that  have  the  richest  blue  coloring  and  darkest,  solid  stripes  I've  seen  on  fry.   I  affectionately  refer  to  her  as  my  wc  black  moba  momma.

I  have  met  a  few  of  my  Indian  friends  over  at  www.cyphos.com.   I  am  a  frequent  poster  there  under  Ron  R.   In  the  meantime  you  can  look  at  my  gallery  pics  or  do  a  search  under  Ron  R.  for  additional  pics.

Right  now  I  have  7  wigglers  in  my  tumbler  and  18  F1's  from  my  wc  black  moba  momma  in  a  diy  floating  nursery.   I  keep  all  my  fishkeeping  in  my  180g  moba  tank.

I  look  forward  to  contributing  to  this  forum  and  hopefully  will  see  more  moba/zaire  keepers  here  as  this  beautiful  fish  becomes  more  available  in  your  country.

I  also  love  this  other  forum  (Monster  Fish  Keepers).  They  have  a  sticky  about  identifying  various  "strains"  of  Frontosas/Gibberosa

 http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162141

Now,  like  all  other  forums  (incl.  IAH),  not  all  the  information  there  might  be  accurate.  But,  it's  a  good  source  with  pictures  to  explain  differences  among  various  strains.

Might  help  the  discussion  going  on  here..

 Cheers,
 Sid
