Dosing  will  not  harm  your  shrimp  in  any  manner  unless  it  had  copper  (Cu)  in  it.  As  for  the  investment  part  if  you  manage  to  keep  the  shrimps  separate  you'll  recover  everything  in  six  months  by  selling  their  off  spring.

and  talking  about  copper  contents  does  these  salts  (KNO3  &  Kh2PO4)  contain  copper  ???....

Since  they've  survived  they  should  breed  too.  I  suggest  separate  asap  before  they  inter  breed.  None  of  those  chemicals  have  copper  or  copper  based  compound.

 HI  Amey,

I  lost  a  couple  of  whiptails  after  dosing  of  phosphates.

Hence,  I   only  dose  nitrates  and  iron  as  I  only  keep  anubia's,  ferns,  moss   and  dwarf  crypt  (Parva).

 Regards,
 Surya
