Do  post  a  picture  of  your  tank  as  well.

Also  I'm  new  as  well  to  planted  aquaria,  someone  educate  me  on  what  a  carbon  plate  is?

@mortis,  I  will  add  another  36w  PL  and  reduce  to  8hrs,  currently  I  may  not  able  add  pressurized  co2...due  to  its  safety  concern...so  left  only  with  carbon  plate.

 Hi  friends

For  me  current  tank  setup,  which  mentioned  in  first  post...adding  another  24*2  T5  light  would  be  sufficent?

             by  adding  this  ....for  30G  tank,  4*24W  T5   =96W   and  1PLL  36W

Total  132W,  which  comes  under  4.4W  per  gallon

All  T5  will  be  10000K,  just  want  to  double  check  before  buying  24*2  T5  light.

You  cannot  add  kelvin  rating  of  bulbs  together,  it  is  like  saying  I  am  buying  two  shoes  of  size  5  each  as  size  10  is  not  available.
6500  K  is  good  enough  for  planted  tanks,  I  don't  know  if  you  will  have  any  specific  advantage  with  10000  k  bulbs.
A  tank  of  32X17X26  will  be  61  gallons,  and  132  watts  will  be  2.16  w/g,  where  did  4.4  g  come  from?

Why  are  checking  only  in  LFS.  You  get  6500K  T5  tubes  from  most  of  the  good  electrical  shops.

10000  and  20000K  tubes  are  used  for  marine  tanks.  Its  of  no  use  for  planted  tank.  For  planted  tank,  you  need  tubes  with  6500  kelvin  ratings.

And  2.2  WPG  is  fine  for  a  setup  without  pressurized  CO2.  4WPG  will  just  result  in  algae

Today  changed  my  10000k  light  to  osram  24w  t5  6500k...

@mortis.   I  kept  diy  co2  &  electrolysis  co2  generator,  my  co2  drop  checker  showing  green  shade.  As  well  as  dosing  excel  as  recommended.  Is  this  sufficient  to  raise  the  light  4wpg?

 +1  Mortis

Why  are  you  bent  on  4WPG?  As  suggested  by  Mortis,  use  only  around  2  to  2.5  WPG.  More  light  will  give  you  a  huge  headache  in  terms  of  algae.  Reducing  the  light  is  the  wisest  thing  to  do  to  prevent  algae.  Your  fish  will  also  be  happier  with  less  light.  And  you  will  save  on  electricity  too!

Also,  don't  start  dosing  ferts  just  yet.  That  will  be  another  open  house  for  algae.

+1  Navneeth:  what  is  a  carbon  plate?

Carbon  plate  :  Its  a  CO2  generator  electronic  equipment.  Carbon  plates  are  used  in  this  device.  You  will  have  to  replace  the  carbon  plate  after  a  period  of  its  usage.

For  reference:  Carbon  Plate  CO2  generator
