Hello guys, im from chennai and recently started my first aquarium. Like most people do, ive bought some fishes along with the tank so im doing a fish-in cycling at the best i can. As water testing kit is kinda costly (2300 approx) im changing 15-20% water daily for maintaining the cycle. Right now im feeding my fishes Taiyo Max Tubifex worms and a e-jet flake and right now i am looking for a good source for a live worms. Comment, suggest, say something... anything to help me improve my skills in keeping fishes. My tank is about 12G (US) / 45 liters approx.

One fish of the 2nd pic (which i guess is a firemouth) died this morning ... he didnt show any sign of de-coloration, he was lying around at the bottom corner of the tank for about 1 day, he eats food when i feed them. will i have saved the fish if i had QT him? or its just some draw backs of fish-in cycling?
