@Dev...And  this  is  not  very  encouraging,  either

There  is  a  limit  till  which  my  encouragement  can  go  on  Hamza.  And  I  am  not  a  very  patient  soul,  you  must  admit.

Vk_8e,  what  is  your  name?  At  least  we  know,  Amano's  name  so  that  people  like  you  can  call  him  names.  Many  do  so,  it  is  the  easiest  way  to  get  publicity  these  days.
Just  by  having  good  ideas  here  and  there  is  something  and  implementation  and  final  presentation  is  something.  Leave  alone  Amano,  he  does  not  need  your  or  my  certifications,  show  us  your  work  so  that  we  can  say  PROUDLY  that  Vk_8e  is  a  greater  creator  of  scapes.  That's  what  you  want?  right?  to  WOW  people,  so  do  it  and  get  your  share  of  the  lime  light  if  you  are  worth  it.     Very Happy

its  not  easy  to  build  what  i'm  planning,  including  the  river  i  pm  u  (guess  it  is  the  first  of  kind  in  the  whole  world).  may  take  few  weeks  may  be  months,  because  i'm  building  each  and  every  stone,  tree  trunk  etc  artificially  to  my  taste.  not  simply  grabbing  stones  from  road  side.  integrating  all  my  diys  into  one  tank,  that  should  look  good  is  mission  impossible.  not  just  like  following  amano,  iwagumi,  kind  of  bull  s%&*  rules.  we  can  find  1  Amano  in  12.8  crores  of  japs,  but  NO  ONE  from  India  with  a  population  of  1,210,193,422.  grow  up  KID.  takes  lots  of  effort  and  time  to  build  ones  tiniest  dream  in  perfection.

Just  build  the  river,  the  very  idea  i  gave  you  and  tell  me  what  u  got!!

You  have  raised  your  Bar,  and  thats  awesome...and  all  these  are  kind  of  encouragement  only...

I'm  Not  Paid  To  Be  Nice/rude  with  any  one.  i'm  not  going  for  any  competition  either.
This  is  my  first  and  only  tank,  i'm  doing  everything  alone.
Like  Thomas  Alva  Edison  said  “I  haven't  failed,  I've  found  10000  ways  that  don't  work”.
i'm  not  a  professional,  i  simply  follow  my  instincts,
never  did  asked  any  one  to  cheer  me  up,  just  asked  you  people  if  it  is  right  or  wrong!  whether  your  suggestion  works  on  my  setup  is  what  i  have  to  figure  out.
i'm  not  paid  or  my  name  comes  into  light  for  posting  7-8  pages,
i  did  asked  moderators  long  back  to  delete  all  the  unnecessary  stuff  off  my  thread.

wanted  to  do  a  part  like  this

Calm  down  guys.  Let  him  build  whatever  he  wants.

 @Vk_  8e

I  respect  your  confidence  level.  But  my  sincere  suggestion  is,  don't  take  out  names  and  hurt  other's  feelings.  The  best  thing  to  show  your  output  is  ,finish  your  project  first  then  come  in  front  of  the  world  with  unique  idea.

Let  us  keep  off  any  personal  attacks.
@  vk_be,  even  I  am  having  trouble  in  understanding  as  to  what  exactly  are  you  planning.
The  thread  started  off  as  a  planted  tank,  then  a  Mars  landscape  came  into  place,  then  a  wave  maker  (  which  is  never  a  good  idea  in  planted  tanks),  then  I  see  a  river  based  landscape  being  attempted.
It  is  confusing  to  most  of  us.
If  you  are  new  to  aquariums,  please  take  it  step  by  step,  before  writing  a  novel  one  needs  to  learn  how  to  write  basic  alphabets  a.b,c.
My  sincere  advice  would  be  setup  a  simple  fish  only  aquarium,  gets  familiar  with  nitrogen  cycle  etc.
After  some  time  when  you  are  able  to  keep  your  fish  alive  for  a  reasonable  period  of  time,  switch  over  to  planted  tanks.
Then  when  you  are  comfortable  with  growing  plants,  then  you  plan  for  any  type  of  landscape.
This  approach  is  beneficial  as  we  are  dealing  with  live  animals  and  they  need  reasonable  care  from  their  owners  to  stay  alive  and  be  happy.

 i  don't  own  that  photo.
its  just  suggestive,  thats  what  i'm  crying  in  all  the  posts  'no  copying,  no  rules'
coming  to  emersed  growth!  its  easy  to  grow  emersed  than  under  water.  once  get  the  desired  look  i  can  submerge  it

and  that  would  obviously  change  the  leaf  &  stem  texture,  so  would  this  tank  be  temporary?

No  copy  no  rules  is  fine  for  me  and  should  be  to  most  of  us  here,  but  a  plan  or  a  sketch  with  plants?  Wink

7  pages  and  1  pic  of  empty  tank  and  1  twig  of  Bacopa?  Where  is  the  action  dude?  All  I  see  is  actionless  planning.   Thumb Down

its  not  easy  to  build  what  i'm  planning,  including  the  river  i  pm  u  (guess  it  is  the  first  of  kind  in  the  whole  world).  may  take  few  weeks  may  be  months,  because  i'm  building  each  and  every  stone,  tree  trunk  etc  artificially  to  my  taste.  not  simply  grabbing  stones  from  road  side.  integrating  all  my  diys  into  one  tank,  that  should  look  good  is  mission  impossible.  not  just  like  following  amano,  iwagumi,  kind  of  bull  s%&*  rules.  we  can  find  1  Amano  in  12.8  crores  of  japs,  but  NO  ONE  from  India  with  a  population  of  1,210,193,422.  grow  up  KID.  takes  lots  of  effort  and  time  to  build  ones  tiniest  dream  in  perfection.

Just  build  the  river,  the  very  idea  i  gave  you  and  tell  me  what  u  got!!
