i  believe  the  answer  lies  in  observing  how  Vyas  keeps  his  fish,  the  knowledge  he  holds  about  the  biotopes  from  where  the  fish  come  from,  the  close  to  exact  parameters  he  tries  to  maintain  all  way  long.

 Saad,

There  is  nothing  to  talk  home  about....Just  knowing/reading  about  the  fish  and  their  requirements,  keeping  only  fish  that  you  know  you  can  keep...more  important...Keeping  it  very  simple.

Vijay.......Ah  you  know  it  better  Very Happy

In  the  olden  days,  when  there  was  no  electricity  around,  all  the  families  living  in  the  dark,  normally  had  more  children  (I  will  not  explain  in  detail   Very Happy  )

That  is  exactly  the  situation  with  Vyas's  fishes  and  his  tank.  He  has  them  in  a  garage,  with  so  much  darkness  (now  he  has  put  lights  on  and  the  Canarensis  is  not  breeding...  yet)  around  that  the  fish  cannot  even  see  what  is  around,  so  you  can  forget  choosing  the  best  mate  etc.  Then  of  course,  there  is  not  much  to  do  in  the  dark  you  know...

That  is  his  secret...  I  have  finally  cracked  the  case.  Thanks  to  the  camera's  set  up  by  Jibran   Chuckle

Vyas,  as  far  as  the  disappearing  act  is  concerned...  I  have  done  5  half  marathons  in  3  months  and  am  training  for  a  Triathlon  for  2011,  and  of  course  managing  Kids  at  home  is  also  there.

 Will  call  you  sometime.

 Bye

Jib:  My  My...you  perverted  fella  Crying or Very sad

Shreyas...Now  that  you  had  solved  the  case  and  let  all  folks  know...Power  bills  are  going  to  come  down  for  all  folks  in  the  breeding  game  ;)

OTOH..good  to  hear  about  your  marathons...and  all  the  best  for  the  Triathlon  in  advance  ...Do  call!
