Kaushik:  No,  I  have  not  visited  these  places.  I  have  kept  Gagata  cenia  earlier  but  was  unable  to  keep  them  alive  for  more  than  2  weeks.  It  was  a  mistake  trying  to  keep  them  in  the  Chennai  weather.

Tirth:  My  lighting  is  very  poor  so  I  dont  think  they  are  growing.

Hi  Beta,  great  collection.  A  lot  of  fellow  hobbyists  who  know  you  always  talk  about  your  fish  room  and  today  I  have  completed  a  virtual  tour  of  it.  Amazing  collection,  perseverence  and  also  very  good  photography.  I  dont  travel  to  Chennai  often,  but  I  wouldnt  mind  a  visit  if  you  would  let  me  in?  Please  let  me  know  if  it  would  be  okay  to  see  your  famous  fishroom.

Thanks  and  keep  going  and  like  Vyas  says...time  to  update.

Beta,  Could  you  ever  get  these  guys  to  feed.I  have  tried  a  couple  of  times  back  in  2000/2001.  I  could  never  find  a  good/healthy  specimen.  Tried  everything  from  live  feed  to  sinking  pellets. They  would  perish  in  a  couple  of  weeks.  Any  tips/observations?

 Thanks
 Bhushan

Vyas:  Sure!  I  will  take  some  pics  and  post  by  next  week  but  its  not  in  great  shape  though.

Shreyas:  Anyone  who  is  interested  is  welcome.  Its  not  a  well  kept  secret  ;)

Bhushan:  The  ones  that  I  had,  started  eating  tetrabits  within  3  days  but  ofcourse  frozen  bloodworms  works  well  too.  They  need  cool,  well  aerated  water  with  adequate  water  flow.
Remember  that  when  kept  in  higher  temperatures,  their  metabolic  rate  increases  and  they  need  to  be  fed  often  through  the  day.  I  wouldn't  recommend  keeping  them  unless  you  can  provide  the  temperature  requirements.

Couple  more  that  I  added  recently.  Both  originate  from  brackish  waters  but  readily  adapt  to  freshwater.  They  even  accept  dry  food  Thumb Up
