Nice...do  you  plan  to  keep  the  tank  bare  bottom

 Hi  Prem
I  plan  to  keep  it  bare  bottom.  I  have  in  all  12  plecos  apart  from  4  whiptails,  2  twig  catfish  and  2  butterfly  loaches.  So  lot  of  waste  is  generated.  BB  tank  helps  me  to  flush  out  dirt  quickly.  Do  you  see  any  major  disadvantage  of  it  being  BB?  I  can  re-evalauate  my  decision  based  on  pros  &  cons.
 Thanks,

 What  are  you  feeding  them?

 Hi  Tejjammy
I  feed  them  flakes,  sinking  pellets  as  at  now.

 Sid

Can  you  please  post  pics  of  all  of  them  ?

 Hi  Rohansd
 I  have  following  plecos:
Royal,  Mango,  Clown,  Zebra  (imported),  Gold  nugget  and  Sunshine  pleco.
I  have  4  whiptails-  Grey  banded  and  black  &  white  banded  (imported),  Royal  farlowella
I  have  2  Twig  catfish  (imported)

I  have  already  posted  pics  of  mango  pleco,  twig  catfish,  black  &  white  banded  whiptail.

I  plan  to  post  pics  of  royal  plecos.  One  of  them  is  becoming  huge.  Problem  is  I  don't  have  good  pic  as  of  now.  They  are  too  shy  even  though  they  are  big.

 Thanks,

I  had  read  somewhere  on  Zebra  pleco  forum  That  they  are  mainly  carnivores.
How  are  you  giving  each  different  specie  its  relevant  diet?
Any  plans  on  breeding  them?  Smile

Looks  great.  Are  you  sure  they  are  WC  though?  Singapore  have  a  few  home  breeders  who  produce  them  and  they  are  no  longer  'legally'  collected  from  the  wild.

Look  forward  to  seeing  you  other  cats  too   Thumb Up

 Hi  Beta
You  have  asked  valid  question.  Tank  bred  L46s  are  more  easily  available  in  Singapore.  The  Singapore  shop  from  which  I  purchased  mine  had  received  consignment  of  WC  zebra  plecos  in  various  sizes  ranging  from  1"  to  3.5"  a  month  ago.  I  had  3  reserved  for  me  since  a  month.
So  I  trust  the  shop  to  believe  these  are  WC.

 Regards,

Time  to  update  your  location  mate.  I  wish  the  plecos  were  at  Dadar.  My  not  so  humble  friends  from  Wadala  area  would  have  done  the  pleco  theft  on  my  behalf.   Cheering

Beta  has  a  valid  point  regarding  the  validity  of  being  collected  from  the  wild.  I  have  seen  a  few  Sing  suppliers  who  sometimes  use  the  'wild'  tag  to  hike  the  prices.  Honest  suppliers  share  their  exporter  details  and  collection  locality  too.

But  yes,  there  a  few  instances  of  wild  L46  going  out  of  Brazil.

 Hi  Shankar
Agree  with  you.  This  is  my  first  purchase  from  Singapore.  I  do  not  know  these  nuances  of  WC  fish.
Wish  I  could  have  confirmed  their  birthplace  from  zebras  themselves.   Chuckle
 Thanks  &  Regards,
 Nitin
