The  tank  looks  like  this  one  month  after  Planting.

That's  the  Spiky  moss  on  the  drift  wood  .

The  Taiwan  Moss  wall.  The  growth  is  all  in  the  last  15  days  when  the  tank  temparature  dropped  below  25  Deg  C.  Until  then  it  was  a  few  strands  peeping  out  here  and  there  from  the  mesh.

 Hi  Madan,
May  I  know  what  plastic  mesh  you  have  used  it  for  the  wall,  and  where  have  you  sourced  it  from  ?

It  is  made  by  Netlon.  6mm  square  mesh.  Used  in  Tea  Gardens  etc.,  for  what  I  don't  know.  I  got  it  from  Chickpet  long  ago.  The  Chennai  guys  paid  100  bucks  a  meter  for  a  3  feet  wide  mesh  I  think.  I  paid  a  lot  more  but  it  was  a  5  feet  wide  mesh.

Nag  got  it  recently,  he  might  be  able  to  help  out.

The  netlon  mesh  is  available  at  Godown  street,  KR  Market.  Godown  street  is  parallel  to  Avenue  Road,  entry  from  KR  Market  side.  This  street  has  many  net  dealers.

Landmark:  You  can  easily  locate  "Chandra  Bhavan"  restaurant  at  KR  Market.  When  you  stand  facing  this  restaurant,  Avenue  road  is  on  the  left  side,  and  Godown  street  on  the  right.

I  purchased  mine  from  a  shop  called  Sunrise  ...  something.  The  contact  numbers  92431  03237.  He  did  not  have  ready  stock  and  got  it  for  me  from  a  distributor.  (for  the  same  reason,  I  think  he  overcharged  me)

 Regards,
 Biju  George

Atanu  for  a  moss  wall  you'll  need  more  Taiwan  moss  than  you  already  have.  I'll  bring  some  on  Sunday.  Remember  to  collect.

How  big  is  the  Moss  wall  going  to  be?

Cheer  Oh  god  this  is  bonus.  I  am  planning  for  a  2.5  ft  *  18  inches    (minus  my  substrate  height  and  not  exctly  square  shape)  ..  But  I  wont  mind  breaking  it  apart  and  replanting  them  in  larger  space  once  I  am  able  to  grow  them  in  larger  quantities.  I  am  doing  that  for  my  spiky  moss..  and  from  the  few  fronds..  I  am  able  to  cover  up  two  large  driftwoods  and  a  rock.  I  hope  of  doing  the  same  with  the  taiwan  moss...  Anyway..  whatever  you  can  spare  I  will  collect  it  from  you.

 Regards

Looks  fantabulous....never  realised  that  moss  could  look  so  beautiful  on  a  drift  wood. It  looks  so  much  more  prettier  to  cover  only  parts  of  the  wood  than  do  up  the  whole  thing......

 Madan:

The  tank  looks  as  lowsy  as  ever.  Its  2  months  plus  since  I  setup  that  tank  and   the  taiwan  moss  still  refuses  to  come  out  of  the  mesh.  Madan  please  try  to  fetch  some  errect  moss  in  case  you  got  some  surplus  with  you.  By  the  way,  is  that  taiwan  moss  on  the  back  ground???
