And  Pio.  Those  in  your  culture  box  looks  like  whiteworms.

 Hey  Deepak
Romi  saw  this  photo  on  Facebook  and  says  that  these  are  not  White  Worms  but  Grindals
Now  I'm  totally  confused  ?     Unsure   Confused
I'm  carrying  a  culture  to  the  MAM  let  see  what  the  guys  say  ?

No  worry  Deepak.  Just  that  my  FB  post  said  White  Worms  so  Romi  advised  and  confirmed  in  the  interest  of  keeping  everyone  informed  to  correct  when  making  a  new  post.

I  just  want  to  debate  one  question  and  that  is  they  say  not  to  feed  too  much  Grindals  or  the  fish  become  fat.
But  if  they  are  getting  good  nutrition  via  the  grindals  who  eat  oats  then  why  not  ?
Of  course  I  do  feed  Tetra  bits,  Algae  wafers  (Powder  them  for  smaller  mouths),  Fruit  flies  also.
And  I  used  to  feed  Bloodworms  and  Daphnia  too  but  was  skeptical  on  the  cleanliness
Now  with  so  much  grindals  the  incidence  of  feeding  other  foods  is  low

Has  any  one  done  research  /  a  blood  test  to  check  if  the  fish  get  cholesterol  etc  after  being  on  a  diet  of  grindals  or  white  worms  ?

You  worry  too  much  Pio  ROFL
Feeding  them  twice  or  thrice  a  week  is  fine.  Idea  is..  they  don't  get  other  nutritions  if  you  feed  them  only  grindals.  And  yeah  they  are  fatty  and  your  fish  won't  touch  other  food  if  you  get  a  bad  habit  of  eating  only  worms.

I  have  asked  some  Blood  worms  to  go  to  Hinduja  Hospital  to  conduct  a  test.  Will  get  the  report  soon.   ROFL   ROFL

yes  perfect,  My  lone  Mr  Orange  Chromide  (  Etroplus  maculatus,)  has  become  very  naughty,  spits  out  every  other  food  that  I  give  and  happily  gobbles  up  on  the  worms.  Doesn't  even  touches  the  mites   Chuckle
