 Hi  Vicky,

It's  looking  nice  to  start  with,  will  look  only  better  as  it  matures.

A  bit  odd  size,  at  least  18"  would  have  been  a  better  depth  for  Aquascaping.  May  be  you  can  consider  this  next  time  you  plan  for  one,  if  space  is  not  a  constraint  Smile

For  this  aquarium  size  you  can  opt  for  an  Eheim  2217,  the  best  in  its  External  filters  category.  There  are  few  other  brands  too,  but  availability  of  accessories  &  spares  may  be  an  issue.

CO2  Diffuser  won't  be  as  efficient,  instead  use  a  CO2  Reactor.

You  can  PM  /  Call  me  if  you  need  either.

I  didn’t  quite  understand  this.  Anyways,  with  CO2  injection  the  surface  agitation  should  be  kept  at  bare  minimum,  therefore  top  box  filter  would  not  be  an  ideal  option.

 Hi  Vicky,

Please  do  not  use  SMS/short  language  in  open  forum.  It  will  be  very  good  if  you  write  in  pure  english,  so  every  one  can  easily  read  &  understand  what  exactly  you  want  to  say.  Smile   and,  please  don't  take  it  otherwise,  just  a  freindly  suggestion.

Reactor  is  much  better  than  any  Diffuser.

No  one  can  get  you  cannister  filter  for  1k.  You  will  get  very  good  internal  power  filters  on  that  range.

Vicky....  Super  tank.  I  could  not  figur  out  at  the  first  look  that  it's  your   first  planted  tank.  Great  job.  Fill  up  left  side  of  the  tank  with  different  ferns.
