The  lunch  at  Gobichettypalam.  The  guy  in  the  red  t  shirt  almost  destroyed  an  entire  chicken  family.

Live  updates  on  IAH.  on  the  background  "Mohan  S-Hits"  (As  defined  by  Balaji)  blares  on  my  sterio.

10  Mohan  songs  and  my  navigator  is  OUT!

We  all  dropped  into  Madhu's  House  at  around  4:30  PM.  Thanks  to  his  Mom  for  the  special  tea.  We  didnt  miss  our  chance  to  visit  his  fish  room  and  well,  spook  up  his  Urau.

Bow  wow  wow  wow...  Finally,  the  one  on  the  right  lost

It  should  be  around  9:30  PM  when  we  reached  Vizhuppuram  to  drop  Krishna.  His  son  Shathrudhan  took  us  for  a  walk  in  his  dad's  fish  room.  This  little  chap  was  able  to  identify  fishes  and  was  showing  us  the  apistos,  Badis  and  few  others.  Welcome  to  IAH,  Mr.  Shathrudhan.  Thanks  to  Mrs.  Krishna  for  the  coffee.

 Final  repacking

Special  thanks  to  Balaji  and  Sai  for  helping  on  the  live  updates.  More  pics  to  come  from  Suraj  and  Rajeshwaran.

 Regards
 Prasoon

CPU  at  home  went  up  in  flames.  So  was'n  able  to  login  the  entire  day  yesterday.

 Beta  :

Zilch.  No  cats  at  all.  Not  even  spotted.

 Hayath  :

 Yup.That  s  the  one.

 Prasoon:

The  next  time,  I  get  to  pick  the  songs  in  your  car.  Mohan's  hits  were  basically  a  giant  compilation  of  the  most  ridiculous  lyrics  I  have  ever  heard.  Add  some  weird  special  effects  sounds  and  you  can  easily  stumble  into  a  coma  like  the  one  I  went  into.

Also  I  think  that  dust  bin  has  almost  become  like  a  mascot.

 Nayak  :

 A  list  of  nets  :

4  Simple  Hand  Nets  picked  up  from  Kolathur.

 1  Mosquito  Net.

1  Mosquito  Net  fitted  with  collapsible  handles  (PVC  Pipes).  This  was  Prasoon's  doing.  It  took  about  5  mins  to  assmeble  or  dismantle  this  net.  Also,  we  found  a  dead  Gambusia  inside  the  handles  (pipes).

Water  was  very  murky  &  we  couldn't  see  the  fish  until  we  netted  'em  out.     And  after  the  catch  the  fish  was  fully  stressed  n  the  caudral  fin  was  totally  black  n  had  some  red  in  it.   But  a  few  hours  in  my  tank,  i  could  see  the  greyish-white  tips  on  its  dorsal,  anal  &  caudral  fins.   Yups  its  a  G.kolus

Was  a  fun  filled  trip  overall.   A  few  need  a  special  mention.

There  was  this  one  navigator,  who  immediately  after  getting  into  the  car,  goes  to  sleep.
And  there  was  this  other  guy,  who  stunned  all  hotel  bearers.   The  bearer  asks,  what  do  you  want.   The  guy  asks  back  what  all  do  you  have.   Bearer  gives  a  list  and  guy  replies,  One  plate  in  all  and  the  poor  bearer  gets  the  shock  of  his  lifetime.
And  there  was  this  other  guy  who  seems  to  have  different  hobby.   He  enters  a  town/village  n  exits  it,  and  that  place  is  void  of  cigrette  packets.

Guys  who  were  on  the  trip  or  the  chennai  guys  could  easily  ID  all  the  3  species   Chuckle

Yeah,  I  remember  the  guy  asking  for  cigarettes.  Pandian  told  me.

This  guy  goes  to  the  shop  and  asks  for  cigarettes.
Shopkeeper  asks  him,  "How  many  do  you  want?"
and  this  guy  goes,  "How  many  do  you  have?".

I  would  rather  talk  a  lot  about  your  ABC  song  than  the  silly  black  covers.   Chuckle

Ha  Ha.  Well  that  song  does  something  to  me  man.  Demented  song.

Im  sure  there  were  some  mix  ups  in  the  fish  bags  cos  I  ended  up  getting  a  bag  of  P.Conchonius  which  Suraj  wanted  instead  of  a  bag  of  P.Assimilis.

Just  a  little  update  on  the  fish  I  bought  back  :

8  P.Assimilis  and  3  P.Conchonius  all  doing  great.  Zero  casualitites  (unless  you  count  the  rice  fish  and  shrimp  that  came  back  as  feeders).  They  have  all  taken  to  Algae  Wafers  and  Tetra  Bits  already.

And  I  have  the  P.  assimilis  with  me.   Chuckle   You  can  give  the  Rosy  barbs  to  Shankar  who  also  wanted  some.  I  will  pick  up  more  here.

I  also  have  a  pair  of  E.  maculatus,  Oryzias  dancena  (Gokul)  and  the  Garras  (Prasoon).  Terrible  mix  up,  ended  with  a  dozen  bags  of  fish.  And  managed  to  lose  the  Salmostoma  in  the  crowd.
