 Hi  All,
Look  at  the  specs  of  this  new  circulation  tool.
 *  Flow  adjustable  electronically  from  2500  to  12000  LPH.
 *  Gentle  flow  unlike  the  standard  powerheads  that  cause  stress  to  the  sessile  inverts.
 *  Flow  is  wide  spread  and  covers  the  entire  tank  (4-5  feet).  One  pump  for  100gal  tank.
 *  Inbuilt  wave  maker  with  multiple  modes.
 *  Master  pump  Can  WIRELESSLY  connect  to  other  slave  pumps  to  vary  the  flow  pattern
 *  No  electricity  in  the  aquarium  water
 *  No  heat  transfered  to  the  water  (less  load  on  the  chiller)
 *  Consumes  only  28  watts  at  max  flow  rate.  Drop  the  flow  rate  to  get  more  savings.

What  would  you  guys  and  gals  think  of  this?

 Cheers
 Ranjith

Link  to  the  variety  of  products  is  http://www.ecotechmarine.com/products/products.php

It  is  costly.  but  look  at  this,  how  much  money  are  we  spending  on  buying  livestock?
We  do  not  hold  back  when  we  want  to  buy  light  components.

It  is  definitly  not  a  part  of  "poor  man's  reef"  concept.

You  cannot  compare  a  azoo  skimmer  to  an  AquaC  Remora.

If  its  just  for  circulation,  Hydor  Koralia  might  be  a  good  (cost  effective)  choice.  Though  not  as  powerful  and  feature  rich  as  the  above.

Im  planning  to  get  one  for  FW  stream  setup.

Certainly  looks  very  feature  rich.  Haven't  seen  anyone  using  it  here.

Hydor  koralia  will  not  give  us  the  back  and  forth  wave  motion  unless  we  buy  the  wave  maker  attachment  with  it.  in  that  case  the  cost  is  more  or  less  equal.
This  is  not  only  good  for  asthetics  but  also  for  keeping  detrus  and  food  suspended  for  feeding  as  well  as  skimming.

Hydor  koralia  will  not  give  the  benefit  of  not  adding  heat  to  the  tank.  also,  you  have  electricity  in  the  tank.
Also  am  not  too  sure  if  hydoy  koralia  works  with  our  power  frequency  and  if  the  flow  is  electronically  controllable.

check  this  forum  for  some  feedback  from  users.
