Same  happened  on  Sep  29th  soon  after  a  major  water  change.  But  today,  its  been  a  week  and  think  nitrate  levels  might  be  a  bit  high  and  oxygen  content  must  be  high  as  water  level  has  gone  down  by  couple  of  inches  and  water  pouring  down  the  spraybar.

PS:  You  can  also  see  the  aftermath.  So  no  chance  for  any  eggs  to  survive  in  the  tank.

 Yes  Sudhir.

But  cant  do  much  for  now.  Will  be  out  of  town  for  more  than  a  week.  Will  try  it  next  time  around.

Actually,  saw  some  similar  acts  with  the  egg  eaters(Nemacheilus  anguilla)  too  around  a  week  back.  Might  have  another  video  after  the  water  change  tomorrow.

 Excellent  Video.

The  changed  marital  situation  of  the  owner  might  also  have  something  to  do  with  it,  You  think?  Innocent

 Regards,
 Nayak.

Thanks  andy  for  the  compliments.  But  the  ones  in  the  wild  were  more  stunning  than  these.

I  am  really  sorry  to  dig  up  such  an  old  post..  but  I'm  looking  for  this  orange  tipped  version  of  bakeri  and  not  able  to  source  it.
Any  leads  how  I  can  get  a  few?
I've  checked  with  Andrew,  but  he  said  he  does  not  have  any  currently  :(

I  do  have  the  white  tipped  ones  and  in  love  with  them.

Oh..  the  fishes  in  this  video,  they  were  unreal   Surprised
