 Hello  freinds

I  have  been  invited  by  my  boss  to  aquascape  a  tank  without  fish.  May  be  he  will  reconsider  to  keep  fish  later.  But  till  now  only  Planted  aquaria  has  been  sanctioned.

I  need  your  help  and  inputs  to  scape  a  lovely  tank  for  him.

This  will  surely  be  a  high  tech  tank  and  I  need  your  help  to  source

 1.  Tank  (  will  mention  size  later  )
 2.  CO2  pressurised  2kg
 3.  CO2  Kit  with  solenoid
 4.  Substrate  or  soil  recommendation
 5.  Plants
 6.  Drift  wood  or  Stones
 7.  Lights  Surely  a  branded  led  assembly

You  can  pm  the  costs  also.

 Please  guide...

Plans  changed  Crying or Very sad

Now  its  gonna  be  a  boyu  tank  with  all-in-one  series.

But  unfortunately  we  dont  get  3ft  high  boyu

A  boyu  type  tank  with  round  corners  5ft  x  33IN  x  22IN  any  other  company  will  also  do,  but  dimensions  should  be  almost  same.  Drinking

Why  cant  you  suggest  him  to  get  a  custom  tank  with  clear  glass.  If  you  contact  a  carpenter  or  a  metal  fabrication  shop  you  can  get  a  good  stand  too.  If  you  are  going  for  planted  tank  it  is  anyway  a  big  no  otherwise  In  my  experience
 1.  the  stand  on  all  these  molded  tanks  is  Edit.  though  it  looks  well  and  good  now  down  the  line  it  will  have  tonnes  of  problem.
 2.  electric  leakage  to  the  tank  water  is  a  common  problem  in  moulded  tank
 3.  The  cover  on  top  of  the  tank  with  the  filter  creates  lot  of  limitations  when  working  in  the  tank
 4.  If  the  tank  is  of  acrylic  then  it  is  more  prone  to  scratches  so  choose  the  tank  which  is  molded  with  glass  if  he  is  sealed  on  molded  tanks.

If  you  are  still  not  convinces  there  are  plenty  of  other  problems  as  well  why  I  choose  a  custom  tank  than  the  plug  and  play  one.....SO  think  again

+1  on  the  electric  current  leakage.
I  m  using  the  moulded  ready  made  tank  in  a  marine  setup  and  anywhere  u  touch  the  tank,  u  get  a  shock  (minor  one  though,  helps  keep  visitors  hands  off  the  tank  Wink  )maybe  accumulation  of  salt  film  is  a  culprit.

 Thanks  Jabba  &  Immu.

@  Jabba...  I  tried  to  move  his  attention  towards  the  conventional  tank  with  clear  glass.  But  he  is  so  impressed  with  the  moulded  1  that  he  is  stuck  with  its  thought

@  Immu..  this  tank  will  have  an  australian  arowana.  Yes  I  can  understand  the  current  leaks  in  a  salt  water  tan,  but  fresh  water  tanks  too  Shocked  thats  new..

 Whats  australian  arowana?  anybody...?  Smile
