As rahul said, it depends.
If you provide the right environment and a compatible mix , I think it should not be a problem.
I have been keeping 7 adult Angels and 3 adult Kribensis in my 66g densely planted tank with no problems whatsoever.
The dense plant cover and lotsa hiding places in the driftwoods provide good environment for the Kribensis and the tall plants provide a desirable environment to the angels too.
Both the species have spawned couple of times in the tank.
And at the last count today morning, I could see 5 surviving fries of the Kribensis and they have grown little more than 1 cm long.

Compatibility IMO should be looked at from the temperament and size aspects. You obviously cannot mix Jags and kribs for too long on the other hand, you can keep convicts with jewels or convicts with mbunas by giving them lots of space.
