 The  bard  what  you  doubt  as  arulius  could  be  P.  mahecola,  may  be  P.  assimilis  though.     Either  case  the  bands  will  disappear  as  they  grow.

 what  about  the  cichlid  fellas?  no  ID  on  it  yet  ?  by  the  way  i  thought  only  3-4  species  of  cichlids  existed  in  india  ....!  Sad

 Indeed.  The  result  of  crossing  a  peacock  with  an  OB  mbuna.

 1.  Danionella  sp.  is  native  to  Burma
 2,  3  &  4  are  wild  caughts  from  the  Periyar  river
 5.  Wild  caught  from  the  Amaravathi  river  -  Looked  like  the  Puntius  arulius  when  smaller  -  not  so  sure  now.  Like  Madhu  said,  could  be  the  juvenile  P.  mahecola
 6.  Ruby  Barbs  -  native  to  Sri  Lanka
 7.  Tiger  Platies
 8.  Aulonocara  jacobfreibergi  -  I  have  two  of  those  and  one  Copadichromis  borleyi  (non-Kadongo,  I  think)
