it would have been helpful if you could post a picture of the sick fish. cloudiness of eyes could happen to cichlids due to various reasons. one of the most common disease is Ich or Ichtyophthirius. check if white marks have spread on its body/head/fins etc. its a parasitic disease.. since one of your fish has already died due to this it means the parasite is present in your tank and needs thorough quarantining.
symptoms of this disease is white spots, cloudy eyes, rapid breathing etc. the disease can outbreak due to unstable temperature of the tank.
to prevent or cure this disease from spreading keep temperature stable and at higher range 28-30C. Add aquarium salt upto specific gravity 1.002 or equivalent. and add malachite green. treatment should be carried on for 10 days as this parasite is hard to kill and will take time to be completely removed from inside and outer side of the fish. do 20% water change every alternate days..

50% water change every alternate day for the week. The fish will be as good as new by the end of the week. Clouded eye is caused by bad water quality. You would have slaked off on your WC regime due to which the fish has clouded eye.
