looks  like  stress.  move  him  out  to  a  seperate  tank,  darken  it  and  feed  him.  a  pair  of  2  inch  Auratus's  can  really  harass  the  living  day  lights  out  of  any  fish.

The  tank  is  too  samll  for  a  green  terror,  looks  like  water  quality  problems.  What  is  your  water  change  schedule?

The  stripes  are  stress  bars  that  appear  when  the  fish  is  stressed.

As  a  temporary  measure,  do  a  40%  water  change  now,  and  a  30%  water  change  every  2  days.  Did  you  cycle  the  tank  before  adding  the  fish?

Get  a  bigger  tank  at  least  36X18X18  inches  now  or  return  the  fish  you  currently  have.  small  fish  like  tetras  and  guppies  are  best  suited  for  your  current  tank

 Suyash,

It's  not  visible  in  the  video,  so  people  can't  see  that  white  dandruff  type  dots  on  the  GT.

 It's  Ich!

 Link  2:http://freshaquarium.about.com/cs/disease/p/ich.htm

The  medicine  is  "Rid-All  Anti-Ich"  and  it  should  be  available  at  your  local  store.  (pic  of  bottle  here:  http://www.hongtai.com.sg/images/antiich.jpg)

Check  the  Date  of  Manufacturing/Best  Before  Date/  Date  of  Expiry  etc.

 Good  luck,

Also,  pure  salt  (Sodium  Chloride,  NACL)  which  is  not  iodize  is  added  to  aquariums  where  there  is  suspicion  of  bacterial  or  parasitical  infections  to  intentionally  disturb  the  salinity  of  the  water.

Most  fish  have  glands  which  help  them  adjust  to  (slightly)  severe  shift  in  salinity  of  the  water  without  serious  effect  to  their  health.  (This  is  usually  true  except  for  very  little  ones  and  scaleless  ones  like  your  Black  Ghost  and  Rainbow  Sharks.)

The  bacteria  (and  some  parasites)  on  the  other  hand,  do  not  have  the  necessary  organs/glands  to  adjust  to  sudden  shift  in  salinity  and/or  temperature  and  they  get  wiped  off.

Hence,  a  very  simple  and  effective  way  of  combating  infections  is  to  add  NACL  and  raise  the  temperature  of  the  tank  using  a  heater.

 Good  luck,

 Sid  kaka

PS:  Note,  kitchen  salt  is  not  pure  Sodium  Chloride.  It  has  iodine  and  other  chemicals..This  is  not  recommended  for  aquarium  use.

Salt  is  to  be  added  when  you're  not  sure  what's  wrong  and  want  a  general  precaution.

In  this  case,  it  is  confirmed  that  the  GT  has  ich.  That  Rid-All  Anti  Ich  medicine  is  the  best  thing  to  go  for.  (It's  nothing  fancy,  it  should  be  available  at  your  regular  store.)
