Any  fish  which  can  co-exist  with  a  betta?  I  have  a  1  ft  cube  which  I  am  willing  to  use  now...  the  first  preference  over  here  is  a  male  betta...  preferably  red...

a  1'  cube  is  enough  for  a  betta

 so  keep  only  the  betta
 with  some  stem  plants

I  am  back  with  some  new  stuff!
Bought  a  pair  of  black  moore  and  1  blue  beta!

The  Beta,  is  currently  in  a  small  bowl...  possibly  in  next  few  weeks,  I  will  be  either  re-doing  my  set-up  or  make  a  new  tank  for  this  chap.

The  pair  of  Black  Moore  is  in  the  1'  cube.

This  will  be  the  plan  in  the  time  to  come,  but  plants...  I  am  not  an  expert  on  it...

Sir  I  am  a  small  kid...  and  I  go  by  the  beauty...  though  I  strongly  believe  only  a  "Girl"  can  be  beautiful,  but  this  may  not  be  the  same  in  fishes!

Wish  I  could  dare  again  serve  females  in  case  of  fishes!
 other  specie  always  welcome!!!  <SMILY><SMILY><SMILY>

PS:  Sorry,  I  was  unable  to  make  a  <SMILY>!

Male  betta  can  co  exist  in  a  community  tank.  But  it  depends  greatly  on  the  temperament  of  the  fish.

but  for  1  cube  foot  tank,  you  should  not  keep  too  many  fishes.
The  Male  Betta  by  itself  will  be  more  than  happy  there

Black  Moor  tend  to  grow  large  and  like  all  goldfish  need  plenty  of  space.
After  sometime  you  might  need  a  bigger  tank.
Do  you  have  a  filter  in  that  tank,  perform  30%-40%  water  changes  every  week.

BTW  in  most  of  animals  it  is  the  male  which  is  more  beautifull  Smile.,Peacocks  and  nearly  most  of  fish

I  have  a  male  betta  co-existing  with  neon  tetras,  cherry  barbs  &  rainbows...no  issues  till  now.  Ottos  were  even  there  which  died  recently.

I  am  now  planning  something  better...  will  be  taking  that  into  the  DIY  section  in  a  minute.

Tank  size  may  not  be  a  problem  on  the  immediate  note...  but  certainly  for  future,  confirmed...
BTW,  will  a  pair  be  good,  or  I  need  them  in  school?

A  filter  is  there  in  the  tank,  but  not  a  very  powerful  one.  Its  a  formal  filter,  I  suppose,  less  than  200ltr/hr.  Till  today,  the  tank  looks  absolutely  fine  with  this...  lets  observe  in  the  next  few  weeks  to  come.
And,  can  temperature  be  a  problem  with  this  fish?  My  tanks  are  kept  at  a  temp  of  30deg  without  any  fan...  round  the  year.

Strangely,  God  reversed  the  case  in  humans!  or  may  be  the  fact  opposites  attract  gets  applicable  here!

I  think  if  we  consider  each  fish  as  an  individual  and  observe  each  one's  psychology  (yes,  psychology!  crazy  but  true!)  as  different,  we  can  come  across  way  too  many  such  examples  and  experiences  which  may  not  be  perfectly  applicable  universally.
