 Hi  Blackghost.
What  size  is  your  tank  and  for  how  long  has  it  been  running  ?
Are  the  fishes  trying  to  scratch  themselves  against  any  rocks/gravel  ?

If  yes,  it  might  indicate  Ammonia  build-up  in  your  tank.  Search  for  "Nitrogen  cycle  in  the  aquarium"  in  Google  or  on  IAH  and  read-up.

If  not  it's  hard  to  pin-point  the  actua  l  problem.  Also  check  for  any  current  leaks  from  filter/heater.

 Keep  us  posted.

 Happy  fishkeeping.

Forgot  to  mention  that  it  all  starts  because  of  poor  water  conditions............do  a  decent  water  change..............let  me  know  if  you  need  more  detailed  information  on  this.

I've  noticed  this  behaviour  in  one  of  my  isolated  female  guppy,  and  finally  it  died.    That's  year  ago.

Not  sure,  though,  it  sounds  like  the  swirling  decease  that  was  discussed  on  the  Discus  fish.    May  be  experts  could  throw  some  lights  on  this.

The  scar  might  be  the  result  of  an  injury  or  a  tumor.  I'd  remove  the  fish.  If  it's  an  injury,  it'll  heal  in  a  couple  of  weeks.  If  it's  a  tumor,  best  to  euthanise  te  fish.
