plant trimming suggestion

 i  haveing  these  two  tall  plant  which  reached  the  water  level,so  i  need  to  cut  them  or  what  i  need  to  do  suggest  me
 
 if  i  need  to  cut  them  how  can  i  cut  them  i  mean  the  top  of  it  and  i  need  to  replant  it  ?

 Stems  should  be  cut  between  the  nodes.  Prune  6-7  cm  from  the  bottom  and  replant  the  cuttings  at  an  angle  of  about  45-60  degrees  from  the  ground.  
 Next  pruning  should  be  around  10-15  cm  and  gradually  increase  as  they  grow.

 If  you  plant  the  stems  at  right  angle,  they'll  come  out  after  a  couple  of  hours  or  a  day,  planting  at  an  angle  fixes  them  to  the  substrate  for  a  longer  duration,  by  this  time  the  roots  start  coming  out  and  hold  the  substrate  firmly
