your  discus  fishes  are  not  in  good  health.any  healthy  discus  should  not  have  any  pigmentation  except  pigeon  strain  discus.

so  what  do  you  do  in  my  opinion:
1.please  don't  keep  them  in  a  planted  tank.keep  them  in  a  bare  bottom  tank  and  use  sponge  filter.
 2.feed  various  balanced  protein  diet,  like  beef/goat  heart  mixture,tetra  bits,hikari  discus  bio  gold,ants  egg,earthworms.
 3.use  30-40%  W/C  daily.
4.don't  mix  and  match  with  other  incompatible  fishes.
 5.use  blue  background.

these  are  some  points  that  i  describe.though  i  am  sure  that  our  experts  will  describe  more.

I  agree  with  Achintya,  but  one  should  not  feed  ant  egg  to  discus  if  he  is  planning  to  breed  it,  in  this  way  discus  will  develop  a  habbit  of  eating  its  own  eggs.
 Thanks.

 yajur

Very  well  &  beautifully  planted  tank  buddy,

I  noticed  a  few  more  fishes  ,  i  think  neon  tetras  &  rainbows  i  guess.  Discus  might  eat  small  tetras,  just  be  cautions.  But  in  a  planted  tank  &  if  they  are  well  fed  shudnt  be  a  bother.

wish  i  could  help  buddy  but  i  don't  have  spare  tank,  I  would  recommend  u  go  in  for  a  bare  bottom  tank  for  them,  its  not  gonna  be  a  heavy  investment,  u  may  even  convert  that  to  discus  planted  tank,  which  i  think  u  might  enjoy  a  lot.  Cause  the  plants  &  the  biotope  setup  is  different  &  they  will  look  gorgeous  against  all  the  greens.

TC,  (The  discus  from  your  snap  look  ok,  little  weak  if  u  cant  prepare  your  own  fud,  but  tetra  bist  or  hikari  &  artemia  (brine  shrimp).  it  shud  be  adequate)
