Hey..  does  it  break  easily.  I  thought  of  doing  a  similar  one,  but  not  tried  it  as  the  thermocol  is  very  easy  to  break.  Do  post  some  pictures  of  it  in  the  aquarium

 Anil

All  are  local  stuff  which  i  got  from  the  shop  :)

The  anti  water  absorbant  is  Dr.  Fixit  Cement  seal.

after  i  applied  that,  i  kept  the  BG  immersed  in   salt  water  for  a  few  days,so  that  nothing  affects  my  fish.

Use  styrofoam  instead  of  thermocol  as  styrofoam  is  stronger  and  will  not  break  so  easily.

I  also  tried  my  hands  on  diy  3d  background  but  mine  was  less  expensive  as  i  used  3  to  4  coats  of  normal  cement.  No  colour  or  any  obsorbant  and  it  worked  out  great.  U  just  need  to  cure  it  by  keeping  it  in  rock  salt  water  for  a  week.
