 Hi  Friends,

When  i  am  in  Chennai,  i  used  to  go  several  times  to  fish  farms  with  some  recommendations.  They  will  not  allow  outsiders  to  visit  their  farms.  Most  of  the  farms  are  maintained  to  hold  the  stock  &  later  move  away  to  retail  shops.  One  of  the  farm  in  Chennai  impressed  me  a  lot  why  because  they  maintained  the  farm  clean  and  well  planned  cement  tanks  with  clean  water.  In  that  most  of  the  fishes  are  Parent  Fishes  like  Oscar  &  Severums  kept  for  breeding.  It's  a  wonderful  visit.

Is  there  any  Fish  Farms  in  &  around  Bangalore  to  visit?
If  there,  pls  post  information  abt  that.  I  want  to  visit  there.

 regards,
 jash

 hi  Prashantha
i  had  gone  there  long  back  ..  nearly  2  years  back  ..  at  that  time  they  were  allowing  visitors  .
But  i  don't  know  the  present  scenario  ...
they  even  sell  fishes  there  ..
so  they  might  allow  visitors  now  also  but  not  sure  ..

 thanks

You  must  have  met  Nikhil.  In  addition  to  being  nice,  he  also  happens  to  be  one  of  the  most  knowledgable  persons  in  the  hobby......glad  to  know  Nikhil  has  started  his  own  breeding  farm.
