 Hi  All

Latest  addition  to  my  collection   Smile  ,  And  No  these  are  not  some  Imports  ..........  They  were  found  in  India.  Dont  ask  me  where,  Even  i  dont  know   Smile

 Keeping  Conditions  and  Food:

These  were  found  in  a  region  were  there  was  no  water  body  but  the  entire  area  was  very  damp,  Hence  assuming  they  are  primarily  terrestrial  but  like  high  humidity.  These  are  perfect  for  Terranium  Setups.

10  of  them  kept  in  a  18  Inch  Cube  Tank,  Bottom  thin  layer  of  used  Amazonia,  Lot  of  terrestrial  moss  and  dead  leaves.  Water  level  is  kept  a  few  mm  above  the  substrate.  Occasionally  sprayed  with  water.  Top  is  covered  95%  with  a  Plastic  Wrap  to  keep  humidity  high.

They  eat  all  sorts  of  pellet  food,  even  freeze  dried  blood  worrms.

 Observations:

Peaceful  in  Nature  compared  to  Crayfish,  They  have  not  ripped  each  other  apart  in  the  past  2  days.  They  sometimes  climb  over  each  other  and  piggy  back.  Not  fussy  eaters.  Every  Individual  crab  has  its  own  preference  in  terms  of  water.  Some  have  moved  the  substrate  so  that  there  is  more  water  to  dip  themselves  into.  Some  like  it  dry  and  position  themselves  on  the  leaves.
