 Hi,
Many  of  my  plant's  leaves  are  turning  clear  or  melting.  The  grass  swoards  are  turning  clear  and  finally  i  can  see  only  two  side  threads...  Its  sperading  slowly.  Crypto  leaves  are  melting,  shrinking(literally)  (leaves  are  not  falling).  They  have  been  in  my  tank  for  quiet  sometime  now.  I  had  replanted  them  almost  3/4  months  back.  I  also  bought  a  new  Red  Tiger  Lotus  on  Sunday,  planted  it  and  I  see  the  same  issue  with  it.  A  big  leaf  has  melted  and  only  half  of  it  is  remainting  and  other  small  ones  are  on  the  same  path.  Attached  some  pictures.  Can  someone  help  me  find  the  issue.  Here  are  some  others  points:
 1.  Take  Size  :  50  gallons.  Been  set  up  for  more  than  6  months  now.
 2.  120  W  light,  pl2  .  LIghts  ON  for  2-3  hrs  in  the  morning  and  about  3-4  hrs  in  the  night.
 3.  ADA  soil.
 4.  Have  stared  CSM-B,  alternate  days,  just  a  pinch.  (Dry)
 5.  No  other  micro-neutrients...
 6.  50%  water  change  regularly/week.  Borewell  water.  Water  is  pretty  hard.
 7.  Other  plants  like  riccia,  java  fern,  banana  :  No  issues..

 Please  help....

The  plants  are  starving,  there  is  no  Co2  or  Macro  fertilization.
Start  with  co2  and  macros,  and  they  will  recover.

 Deficiency  of  Macros  especially  potassium.
Start  dosing  K2SO4  and  other  macros.

I  would  suggest  you  to  add  CO2  first  and  then  increase  your  than  lights.  Start  dozing  Macros  as  well  which  will  convert  your  tank  into  green  lush.

Thanks  All  for  the  reply  and  suggestion.
I  forgot  to  mention  that  I  have  CO2.  I  was  passing  ~1  bubble/sec  but  I  see  a  lot  of  whilte  jelly  formation  on  the  dispensor.
 1.  Have  chaged  CO2  to  2  bubbles/sec  now  and  also  cleaning  the  dispensor  cermaic  every  day
 2.  Have  started  macros  too....
Will  let  you  know  how  it  goes.

Is  this  a  diy  yeast  co2  setup?,  there  is  no  jelly  like  buildup  on  diffuser  plate  in  a  pressurised  setup.

make  sure  that  your  light  on  for  continue  8  hour  atleast,  do  not  worry  just  take  a  chillpill,  put  sum  macro  n  micro  liquid  dosin  depending  your  tank  size,  because  u  hav  only  plant  that  can  survive  in  low  light  and  can  survive  without  inject  co2.  but  if  u  can  than  u  can  add  .

I  dont  have  DIY  CO2  setup.  Its  a  pressurised  setup  only.  I  never  had  this  white  jelly  kind  of  issue  before.  As  soon  as  I  got  this  refill,  I  am  having  issue.  Because  of  this  Jelly  formation,  my  CO2  was  going  waste  because  of  big  bubbles.  So  now  I  wipe  it  off  everyone.  Is  it  CO2  issue?
 Regards,
 Mayur.

 It  is  a  nutrient  issue.
Plants  need  light,  co2,  nutrients  to  photosynthesize,  if  you  have  first  two  and  no  nutrients,  the  will  not  be  able  to  photosynthesize.
As  the  plants  are  not  getting  enough  nutrients  to  produce  new  shoots  they  are  cannibalizing  old  leaves.

Is  this  a  diy  yeast  co2  setup?,  there  is  no  jelly  like  buildup  on  diffuser  plate  in  a  pressurised  setup.

Sandeep,  the  white  slimy  layer  on  top  of  the  C02  cermaic  diffuser  is  usually  not  related  to  whether  you  have  a  pressurized  setup  or  a  DIY  set  up  (  It's  another  thing  that  CO2  diffusers  do  not  get  enough  pressure  to  diffuse  from  a  DIY  yeast  generator  ).
The  slimy  layer  is  mostly  due  to  excess  protien  or  organic  waste  build  up  in  the  tank.  I  had  this  issue  a  long  time  ago,  and  was  forced  to  clean  the  ceramic  diffuser  every  alternate  day.  Prabhu  Xavier   from  The  Aquarium  Store  adviced  me  to  reduce  the  feeding   (  Or  reduce  bio-load  )  as  a  means  to  reduce  the  organic  waste  build  up  in  the  tank.  And  in  a  matter  of  few  weeks  after  taking  this  measure,  the  slimy  layer  stopped  appearing.  Now  I  clean  my  diffuser  only  once  in  a  month.

Thanks  all  for  the  help.  I  think  my  plants  are  recovering.  I  have  stared  macro  and  micro  ferts.  As  well  as  increased  CO2.  For  now  am  not  worred  about  the  while  stickly  layer  on  the  dispenser  as  I  clean  it  AM/PM...  Hope  everything  goes  back  to  normal  or  better  soon.
 Regards,
 Mayur.
