Virtually any aquatic plant will grow emersed. In fact they grow better emersed than immersed. The challenge is in maintaining the humidity level.

Remove the RCS to a safe location and add a couple of small black mollies in the tank. They will finish the pests off in no time. Remove the mollies and bring back the RCS.

Get the plants to be healthy. Algae problem will be automatically reduced, if not solved. Your tank needs better dedicated light, zero sunlight, good source of carbon in whatever form and good fertilizer. If they grow well algae will have no chance. If not, no matter how much water changes you make this problem will remain. Changing water every day or even every alternate day is not a viable or feasible idea. Might as well pick up some other hobby.

Your ballast has given way. I am not too sure if these units can be opened easily for repairs.

One of the lights in my Aqua Zonic Super Bright 2 footer stopped working within 48 hours of arrival. I have since replaced both the tubes with 24 watt Osram T5HO. Excellent result. Thankfully the balalsts are doing fine. Touch wood. Please let me know what you did finally.

The rocks in Deoghar area are more or less same as pumic stones. Next time you go get some for me as well.

Yes DJ Rocky is also a good supplier of Eheim. Sorry Rocky. I bought one from him at a very reasonable price. But I wouldn't advise anyone to buy filters where the delivery is by post.

Aquazona Exports in Delhi is the only authorised Eheim importers and service agent in India, as per Eheim's official site and their booklet as well. But they are in Delhi. Although they send it all over India by post, I wouldn't advice you to get it by post from them. If you have someone in Delhi who can send it through someone personally then only go for it. Otherwise ...........

How is your pellia doing Harsh? Mine is still sitting pretty and doing nothing. Of course they have won the recent battle against filamentous algae that had surrounded them.

If you are personally bringing them in limited numbers no one bothers you at the airport. My wife recently brought in plants worth more than a hundred dollars. Customs didn't bother her. Keep the question "are you carrying any live plants ..." etc blank in the immigration form that they give you at the Singapore airport. Don't mention yes or no. Making a false declaration is a crime.
The worst case scenario, if it happens at all, is they will quarantine your plant and issue a certificate.
You are not bringing in anything illegal.

You have to personally visit a cylinder supplier/refill guy. They can either give you a cylinder which will work with your connector or get you an adaptor for this connector to work.
If you don't know a cylinder supplier talk to the eastern regional office of Praxair or BOC. They will give you the address of a local franchisee in your area. This is only if you want to buy a CO2 cylinder.
Jamshedpur I am sure has lots of them. You just have to know who they are. I can help you in Kolkata

I am really impressed Madan. Do they also cut it out from the sheet using the CNC machine? By the way Madan - do you use GPS?
