In one word = Stress.

You should have added many more together (smaller sized) or some 'buffer fish'.

For now, if you cannot remove him (her?), try adding a lot of decor so he has enough hiding places. Choose the decor wisely so you food/debris doesn't get lodged in it.

Search for industrial chemical distributors in your location, they usually stock it. (It's used an industrial disinfectant)...

Ohh they will fight! Just you wait! :D

Kidding aside, do make it a point that they get in the habit of people staring in the tank. Meaning, initially they might fuss over it and get scared, but keep a habit of sitting in front of them and making movements to get them used to it.

If you have to wash the sand, do take care of the water. Try to keep them in the same water.

You can maybe add couple more depending on how aggressive things get.

I don't think you need to cover any other glass. One is enough, they need to get used to humans.

Cloudy water will not harm the fish. It will clear up in a few days. Does it have a whitish look or does
the water look colored?

I love the one with the Botia and the one with the shrimp on the brown gravel! The colors
in the second one are amazingly accurate!

GR8 JOB! Keep it up!

Tip: Try to get a pic from a different perspective instead of the standard front shot. For e.g.
see how they 1st photo looks so dynamic compared to the others!

Of course, front shots are always necessary, but just a hint to 'jazz' up your pics! :)

Have sent with following courier services:

Professional, DTDC, First Flight, TNT, Blue Dart (only for one large order! Smile)

Wrap the plants in moist newspaper, put them in a plastic bag and seal it, wrap this bag in newspaper, put it in a box lined with newspaper and seal the box.

Very neat packing method!  Thumb Up

Lack of oxygen can sometimes cause irreversible damage to a fish, keep us updated.

I had a similar FH, who used to lie on one side, but he ate, swam (sideways) and survived for
a long time. Miraculously one day he started swimming normally! So you never know, keep him
alive if he eats and looks ok after a few days.

One more thing, try and see if there's anything lodged in his mouth...

One thing that i always had in mind regarding all these ada tanks....

Just look at the last pic, the one with the ready tank, why does the background look so bright??

If you see amano's tank, all the tanks (with white bg's) have bright backgrounds...

Do you put a bright light at the back before photographing?
Maybe people who were there can answer?
