This concept is too bad... Why are Indians not allowed to have corals in their aquarium Sad . While the entire reef is being destroyed by smugglers. The government is not prepared to create a legal procedure for having corals...
If there is a legal route, then the entire volume of aquarium coral trade can be handled by aquacultured route in near future and the natural reefs can be saved.
The government should have a more optimistic and far sighted view in this regard.

Hi all,
Is possessing corals banned in INDIA?.I got some info like only SPS and hard corals are banned, while soft ones are allowed.  Is there a procedure to get the corals legally?? Maybe like importing from another country? Will the corals imported be legal.?. I was curious because I saw some pics of corals in aquarium of one of the IAH member and I think those were imported ones...

Thank You,
Crosslee

Can you suggest any 5000l/h pumps.. I have only come across 3000l/h pumps from atman...

In case I keep both skimmers will the pump supplied with skimmer do the job ??. Or should I get a new one??

PostForum: Water Chemistry   Posted: Sat Dec 05, 2009 6:43 pm   Subject: SKIMMER SUGGESTIONS
Hi,
I am a newbie to reefing, I have setup a 400l aquarium and it has cycled for 2 months... I have added 2 blue damsels, 1 black damsel, 1 sail fin tang, 5 hermit crabs, 6 snails...
I have been using an Via Aqua sk-388 skimmer. But i am not satisfied with it. At times it skims like crazy and sometimes the foam would not rise above 2 cms.
I am looking to buy another skimmer in weipro 2016 or 2018. Has anyone used these skimmers before and do they perform well?? What are your suggestions..
Will add 2 clowns, 1 angel next month along with some SPS corals.
