Hi  all, from  yesterday  the  parents  cleaning  the  bowl  I  kept  inside, after  seeing  that  I  removed  Sucker  Cat  and  now  today  I  can  see  eggs  inside  hat  bowl  Clapping  .This  is  the  second  time  the  bred, first  time  the  sucker  few  and  the  remaining  the  parents  eaten  the  eggs.Hope  this  time  I  can  see  the  fry  in  my  tank  Â Smile  .I  have  Â pair  of  blue  neon  jewels  with  these  red  jewels(Breeding  pair)  and  these  Red  Jewels  are  always  dominating  on  the  blue  neons. Will  post  the  pics  soon.
Edit  :  Hi  to  all  experts  here, today  I  saw  some  eggs  disappeared  and  both  parents  fighting  with  each  other  and  female  is  not  allowing  the  male  to  reach  at  the  eggs, what  might  have  happend?  what  should  I  do  now?  should  I  remove  male/female?  now  the  female  moved  all  its  eggs  to  substrate, what  tod  do  now(it  is  still  not  allowing  the  male  to  come  near  the  eggs)

 Congrats  IRock.
Is  this  the  start  of  the  breeding  season  for  the  Jewels
because  I  see  a  couple  of  posts  that  Jewels  bred.
Best  of  luck  for  raising  the  fry.
 Please  post  pictures  and  updates...

 Dear  Irock
Congrats   Clapping  .  Now  take  maximum  care  to  ensure  that  the  fry  from  the  eggs  come  out  and  post  updates.
 Regards

IRock,  try  to  post  some  pics  of  the  missing  eggs,  for  us  to  suggest  some  or  the  other  reason.  Just  kidding.   Smile

Watch  closely  whether  the  remaining  eggs  are  hatching  well.

congrats   IRock  ,now  that  you  can  see  the  hatchlings  you  can  think  of  removeing  the  male  and  remaining  fishes  from  your  tank  to  ease  up  the  tension, feed  the  female  at  regularly  intervals, dont  worry  about  the  fry  as  they  will  use  the  nourishment  nature  has  provided  in  form  of  yolk  sac.  Thumb Up

Sorry  for  that  theres  always  next  time  ,if  you  can  think  for  a  small  hospital  tank  so  that  whenever  you  find  your  fish  engaged  in  courtship  (breeding   behaviour)  you  can  seperate  the  pair  in  this  tank  and  im  sure  they  will  give  you  results.
