Hello all,
I do not have a FH and looking at this thread I have decided that
I will not want one, even in the future - my personal opinion.
I am curious to ask the owners what is so fascinating in this fish
except for the beautiful coloration. The big humps on the head,
I am not sure what they represent?
But nature has many perfect things, then why try to recreate a
Square Wheel? Just thinking out loud and mean no offense to
any FH or its keepers
anyway had a good time looking at these pics.
good luck to all present and potential owners.
regards
Dan |

Hi
Just saw the lovely FH on the post and thought of putting a few pics of my boy he is a year old . Had put up some pics of him earlier to know about his lack of markings but unfortunately did get any advice , also would like to know from the experts why he goes of food for a week at most times.
Thanks.
P.S. Hope you like him. Very gentle guy will allow you to stroke his head at most times. |

Hi
Wish I knew , got him as a gift , actually the guy who bought him could not give him the care he needed and thought he would be better off with me .
Waiting for the experts to shed some light on the facts about him and also on my quiries.
Thanks anyway. |

I am no fan of the flower horn. Never ever kept them nor will I ever will. Just obliging my non internet savvy friends to post pics of their fish. |

Dan: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".... i know people who only want FH's as they can keep them for show. Most of the FH sales come that way. They are nice to look at and grow big. you know, some people demand "colorful" fish without caring about any other trait. how do you argue with these guys?
Trevor: Your camera's been busy for sure...
Also, I see the pic of the FH feed... what's the idea there??? (couldn't find any winkies.... )
TO ALL: nice pics... i have a FH, but he's just a baby.... he needs to grow a bit before he deserves to be up in this gallery. btw, he belonged to a friend who wished to part ways ( Ulsoor lake.....) so i kinda decided to take him in.... help the lake and all... |

This photo was taken today 8/2/2010.
A picture of the same dude was posted on page 3 of this same thread on August/15/2008.
The white beauty spot on his cheek helps identify him. The white spot is only on the port side. (left)
The fish belongs to S. Raghu of Koramangala, B'lore. Hybrids are of no interest to me. The tank is mine. |

A glass divider which separates two virile dudes will bring out the humpy head.
A close up of the dude on the left is above in the previous post. A close up of the dude on the right is below.
