20%  is  much  lesser  volume  for  WC.
Do  min.50%,  use  Hypo  as  dechlorinator.

 WC  20%,  50%  ,  75%  or  90%  all  depends  upon  the  below  factors  ,

 1)  Total  volume  of  water  per  fish  .
 2)  Filteration  system  .
 3)  Type  of  feeding  .
 4)  No  of  feeding  per  day
 5)  Density  of  fish  in  Tank  .
 6)  Biological  load  in  Tank

Use  of  hypo  (  Sodium  Thiosulphate  )  also  depends  upon  the  source  of  water  and  volume  of  water  replace  .  If  you  are  using  Borewell  water  and  do  90%  WC  ,  even  if  you  don't  add  any  Dechlorinator  will  not  harm  your  fish  ,  But  when  you  replace  50%  of  fresh  Tap  water  coming  directly  from  Municipality  ,  you  need  to  add  Hypo  as  per   the  chlorine  contains  in  the  water  .  when  you  use  aged  water  which  is  aerated  for  24  Hrs  ,  the  Chlorine  gets  out  of  the  water  hence  no  danger  to  the  fish  even  when  if  you  miss  to  add  Hypo  in  the  water  .

Note  :  Adding   toomuch  of  Sodium  Thiosulphate  then  required  is  not  safe  for  the  discus  ,  In  longrun  it  will  suffocate  your  discus  .

 Thanks

Thanks  for  the  information  Shiva.  As  he  is  from  Navi  Mumbai  I  assume  he  must  be  using  municipal  tap  water,  hence  the  use  of  Hypo  was  suggested.  I  agree  your  views  on  adding  excess  hypo  to  the  water.
