Really  good  hamza.  The  sand  gives  a  original  river  effect  to  the  tank  and  has  a  feel  of  a   biotope.  Any  plans  for  E.tenellus  as  forground?

 Hamza,

I  am  looking  for  low-light  plants  (1.5w/gal)  and  not  able  to  find  them  in  LFSs  in  Hyd.  Let  me  know  from  where  did  you  source  your  plants.  Is  it  local  or  out  of  station?

I  set  up  my  tank  a  week  ago  with  around  30%  plants  and  am  worried  about  algae  already.  Need  to  have  more  plants  at  the  earliest.  Please  help.

 Thanks
 Satish

Thank  you  saarji!  very  true,  a  great  deal  of  efforts  was  involved  to  source  and  get  the  plants  around.  Thanks  to  you  people  senior  members  for  motivating  me  to  this.

Thanks!  that  plant  is  Hygrophila  difformis,  and  not  a  fern  at  all.

Yeah,  those  two  bottles  are  pumping  out  a  lot  of  CO2,  moreover  a  very  constant  flow.  I  replace  the  solution  in  a  week  and  with  gap  of  3-4  days  between  two  bottles,  so  that  my  tank  doesnt  runs  out  of  CO2  at  all.
This  mixture  is  working  very  well  for  me:
 1/3  tsp  dried  yeast
 3  tbsp  sugar
 1.5ltr  water  in  a  2liter  soda  bottle.

take  pictures  of  rocks  and  trying  them  out  first  in  photoshop  is  truely  a  great  and  innovative  idea.  I  would  have  done  the  same.  Awesome  work  Hamza   Rock On
I  don't  know  much  about  aquascaping  but  yes  the  empty  space  higher  towards  the  right  really  gives  the  breathing  space  the  tank  needs  and  room  for  your  future  background  to  get  enough  exposure  to  be  noticed.
Once  again,  awesome  work  !  Very Happy

 @Hamza,
Rocking  dude...its  so  simple  yet  a  real  treat  to  the  eyes.Really  hats  off  to  you  on  your  DIY  projects.Keep  on  rocking. However  I  do  feel  that  some  cryptocorine  wenditti  will  do  magic  in  the  midground. But  thats  solely  my  opinion. You  are  by  far  a  much  better  judge  than  me.

@Fishenthusiast...Thank  you!  the  plants  are  growing  high  and  they'll  definitely  hide  that  background,  so  I  have  kept  it  for  the  other  tank  I  have,  presently  I  use  a  couple  of  black  chart  papers  that  keep  slipping  down,  will  stick  them  someday  Chuckle

@Abhi,  Thanks  mate!  thats  exactly  what  I  thought,  using  a  few  dwarf  cryptocoryenes  in  the  midground.

Earlier  I  thought  of  having  no  midground  plants  at  the  center  and  after  a  few  suggestions  by  a  couple  of  friends  I  realized  that  middle  plants  give  a  3d  effect  to  a  scape.
And  heres  an  update  with  a  few  more  hygrophila,  and  dried  leaves  to  give  a  natural  touch  to  the  tank.

Yet  to  go  in  are  these  ferns,  that  I've  kept  in  a  dark  tank  to  grow  them  out.

 Hi  Hamza

The  tank  looks  very  pleasant!!  good  work!   Thumb Up  The  almond  leaves  at  the  bottom  actually  gives  a  very  natural  feel  to  the  tank.  Just  one  put  up  one  more  snap  without  the  reactor.  IMO  the  tank  needs  a  little  more  fauna.

   All  The  Best!!

 Thank  you  sir!
 as  requested....

This  tank  presently  has  4  neon  rainbows,  2  rams,  4  platies,  2  CAE,  3  bettas,  5  adult  rainbow  shrimps  and  20-30  young  and  juvenile  shrimps.  The  shrimp  population  is  going  down  with  more  fishes,  thats  why  I  was  scared  adding  more  fishes.
