Amit... nothing special. I am just following the prescribed dosage of EI method. Just do a search in the forum, you will get the EI dosing details for different tank volums.

Good documentation of your project Tirtha. The tank has started off well. Best of Luck.

As Sriram said, for Macros please surf through your Local Yellow pages to find out nearest lab equipment and chemical distribution shop. I picked up Micros from GREENZ, Delhi. For the address and Ph number please do a full search in IAH with keyword 'GREENZ'.
A small visual treat for eyes. When I received this plant, it was completely green. But in last 2-3 days it turned out Orangish Red and started growing fast.

I followed bit longer way to get the gifts. Through out last couple of months I spent lots of time looking at the empty tank saying nothing to her. When she told me to do something lowbudget, I said I am ready to wait but no low Tech. I made a Tang Setup and within 3-4 months I rip it off saying this is not my cup of tea. Then again started to spend time looking at the empty tank.
When she was asking me what I want on my birthday or in anniversary, I said her, I need nothing, but if she wants she can keep the money so I can purchase something while setting up the tank. And FINALLY she got pissed off and get those gifts to make her morron husband happy. |

WOW !! That was a well planned emotional assault
I am going to take down a tank and stare at its emptiness but I hope I can delay my gratification |

I think Roberta Flack also had this kind of husband who inspired her to sing " Killing me softly with his words." |

Lucky you. A new filter. Killing softly indeed. I should start moping front of my tank everyday. Ludwigia is a treat for the eyes. Nice detailing. |

|
|
Here Is the tank after 10Days of Plantation.
Positives: Following Plants have settled down and doing well.
Crypt Petchii
Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Tropica'
Limnophila Aromatica
Ludwigia Inclinata Var. Verticillata
Rotalla Wallichii
Mayaca Fluviatilis
Micranthemum Umbrosum
hemianthus micranthemoides
Negetives: 3 Days in a packet and sitting at Singapur Airport took a costly toll on the plants.
Completely Melted Away,
Ludwigia Ovalis Sp "Red"
Rotala Rotundifolia
Rotala Sp'green'
Myriophyllum Mattogrossense also badly hit by shipment and 75% of the stock melted away.
Failed To Survive,
Ericaulon Sp. (My kH is more than 11DKH and this plants simply melted away within a day.)
Tonina Sp. Belem, this plant is also following Ericaulon's foot step for the same water hardness problem. Keeping my fingure crossed if it survives.
Surprise:
No one other than Glosso. I received these plan patch in 99% melted state and it was smelling like hell. For first 7 days I could see only the melted twigs on the sand, but for last 3 days they greeted me with lots of fresh green Twigs.
Algae: Just a small patch of Brown Algae on front glass. Thats it.
Increased Photo period to 7Hrs from 6Hrs.
Now I have to again search for new plants as I have lots of spaces to fill up. |
