Hi,
Can I use feviquick to stick pebbles to create some desgn for my aquarium tank? I mean I want to make it a semiplanted tank with plants in plastic bottle/jar but want to cover bottle with pebbles to see if looks bit close to natural. Is it Ok to use feviquick for this purpose

instead of fewikwik go for silicone sealant. |

Can someone guide how to use silicone gel. I enquired at a hardware store they say I have to buy a gun also along with bottle(gun is of same cost as of bottle)...
Also I dont think feviquick comes out in water, I have used it for some non aqurium piping thing.
I am more worried at possible toxic effects on my discus

Instead of spending money on a full bottle of Sealant and Gun, take the stones to your LFS and ask them to fix it for you. It will be much cheaper. |

u can find smaller tube of silicon sealant at any adhesive shop.silicone is nowadays widely used in automobile industry.pidilite is also manufacturing a silicone sealant.ask for it it comes very cheap around 30 per tube. |

Do you mean Dr.FIXIT from Pidlite?If so then the website says "Do not use in fish tanks"

no i am not talking about fixit.it is an water proofing cement.that silicon sealant is used for making gaskets in cars and bike ad i am using it to paste background posters in my aquarium with no ill effects on fishes. |
