@Tango, I am doing good. Nice to see you in action and lighting up a few ideas.
@Tirtha, the video transmitter should indeed be not economic, but there are options of video capture within. Think of pocket spy-cams; chinese ones should not be very expensive. The downside is the low resolution and finding a water proof hood for that. It has got to be light enough too, so that the buoyancy of the mini-submarine is least affected.
If needed, I wont mind sending my beloved cell-cam underwater again. |

If we want to store the video within the camera then your idea is perfect. I was thinking about streaming video directly on a Ground Monitor from the Submarine, based on what you can control the movement of the Submarine. But I think, I thought of a too much complex system. |

Do you get RC hobby kits seperately? I dont want to rip out stuff from an existing mechanism as i would probably break it. |

Tango - I did check out that link, was curious to know if it could be bought in India. Buying off the net and that too from across the seas is something i am not very comfortable with. I am sure somebody in India would be importing this as a toy for re-sale. I will also surf the net and try to identify a seller in India.
THe prospect is very exciting and so have to do it as soon as possible. |

The rediff subs are the silverlit 2 channel ones i had warned about in my first post. dont buy them. They are big and not manouverable. They can only go forward and turn back. |

Keep the faith Ram. You will need to visit various toy shops and see the options. I had to visit almost 12 shops in various areas of delhi before I found what I was looking for. That too he had only 1 piece left!
Remember you need a full function sub i.e. up down, left right, front back. |

Thanks Hamza, but those are from outside the country and then payment has to be made in dollars on your card. The delivery may also take ages and finally you are not sure if the sub you get will finally work. I was actually looking for a local seller in India!!! |
