 Awesome  photography.  Unni.

 You  need  some  more  plants  for  the  background  though.  Your  midground  is  fuller  and  the  back  thin.  Some  more  stems  should  help.

 A  beautiful  tank  for  a  first  timer.   Clapping

 Thank  you  Ranada.
 No  Secrets   Smile  .  I  think  all  the  technical  points  on  Aquarium  photography  has  been  Covered  by  Hayath

 What  I  would  suggest  is
 Loads  of  Patience
 Digital  Camera  {Film  cost  would  bankrupt  you}
 Tripod
 Loads  of  patience  {Again}

 I  find  that  grabbing  the  camera  and  shooting  a  picture  and  expecting  it  to  look  good  doesn't  work  for  me.  Sit  down  in  front  of  the  tank,  setup  the  camera  on  the  tripod  and  allow  the  fish  to  settle  down.  Keep  clicking  away

 I  usually  spot  meter  all  my  shots,  I  Bracket  nearly  all  of  them  so  that  I  will  have  the  same  shot  with  three  light  levels.  {Almost  always  I  end  up  choosing  the  underexposed  ones  Smile  }

 I  generally  end  up  with  one  usable  picture  for  every  10-15  that  I  click.  I  am  just  a  mediocre  photographer.  The  good  photographers  would  probably  have  a  better  good  to  dud  ratio.

 If  you  need  photography  pointers  Hayath  or  Trevor  would  be  the  best  Gurus  around  I  think.

 Thank  you  Suraj
 The  two  Gaps  on  either  side  of  the  Crypt  Spiralis  and  the  Mayaca  Fluviatilis  are  the  culprits  for  the  thin  background.  Those  were  the  areas  where  the  R.Wallichi  and  the  Ammania  gave  up  Sad   Hopefully  I  will  do  better  with  the  CO2  in  place
