Rohan  seems  to  have  been  right.
The  Pod/Bud   is  still  sitting  there  ,  no  progress  since  the  last  update   Sad

Unni,  is  the  bud  still  green?  If  yes  you  still  have  hope.  Sometime  it  just  takes  a  while.
 Thanks

 Uni
Try  &  play  some  music  to  it.  Heard  some  cows  give  more  milk  if  music  is  played,  maybe  it  is  waiting  for  you  to  play  some  music.  Smile
BTW  nice  tank  and  good  care  of  plants,  In  my  tanks  I  have  not  seen  any  submerged  flowers,  emersed  flowers,  yes,  lilly  &  echinodorous.

Not  too  sure  of  the  above.  Smile
Unninga  dropping  the  level  of  water  to  just  near  the  bud  or  getting  the  bud  just  above  the  water  could  trigger  the  bloom.

Ohhh,  so  the  waiting  is  still  on.  Like  promised  to  myself,  my  tank  now  has  more  anubias   Smile

I  have  had  success  with  Rotala  Wallichi  and  Red  Cabomba  flowering  in  my  tank.  The  Red  Cabomba  flowers  are  violet  in  colour  and  are  very  beautiful.  I  will  try  and  post  a  picture  trying  to  play  some  side  shows  before  the  main  act  begins   Smile

 All  the  best.

Too  many  stems  in  the  tank,  so  dropping  the  level  may  not  be  possible.  The  wood  is  almost  twenty  inches  long  and  has  a  large  volume  of  moss  which  I  adore.  Will  try  slinging  it  up  from  the  brace  of  the  tank  to  keep  the  bud  above  the  water  level

By  the  way  Trevor  Sir  my  name  is  Unni   Smile

Trevor  would  this  be  okay  ?  Or  should  i  bring  more  of  the  leaves/plant  into  the  air?

 No   Sad   Sad
I  should  have  listened  to  the  voice  of  experience  from  Trevor  and  dropped  the  Water  level.  Instead  of  that  I  slung  up  the  wood  on  the  water  surface.
What  I  failed  to  take  into  account  was  that  this  was  barely  5inches  away  from  144Watts  PLL  with  their  ballasts.
The  bud  withered  away,  even  parts  of  the  plant  that  was  outside  the  water  was  damaged.

I  have  a  bud  growing  for  nearly  a  month.  Just  saw  that  its  opening  up.  Most  probably  it  will  flower  in  next  few  days.  Will  try  to  get  pictures  of  it  when  it  blooms.  Have  to  clean  up  the  glass  as  its  full  of  algae.

I  think  Bushan's  comments  on  high  phosphate  levels  is  right  on.  This  one  is  in  my  3footer  with  ~1wpg  and  2feet  deep.

 Have  a  question  -
How  long  will  the  flower  last?  Want  to  make  sure  I  get  a  camera  before  that.

 Hi  Deepak,

Clean  the  glass,  use  a  turkey  baster  and  blast  the  dust  off  the  surface  of  the  leaves  and  flower  and  then  shoot.  You  should  have  an  awesome  shot.   Thumb Up
