Yo  Guys,  we  need  an  account  of  the  nets  that  were  carried  on  the  trip.

I  brought  9  hand  nets  totally.

 3  large  green  ones,
 2  triangular  ones,
 2  silverhandled  black  nets
one  blue  12  inch  square  hand  net
one  4  x  6  inch  blue  hand  net.

Anyone  have  these  with  them  please  post  here.  These  are  required  for  every  one  of  our  trips.

There  were  a  few  more  brought  by  nayak,
 3  nos.  silverhandled  black  nets.
and  one  yellow  hand  net  if  I  am  not  mistaken.

also  madhu's  skirt  and  a  few  more  large  ones.

 I  have  2  nets  missing.

1  10"x10"  yellow  with  black  stripes
 1  6"  green  net

My  musquito  net  is  probably  with  Nayak.  It  was  used  to  cover  buckets  in  the  room.

I  am  not  good  at  taking  pictures  of  fishes  in  the  water,  it  seems  to  come  out  pretty  bad   Thumb Down   Hayath  was  supposed  to  join  us  on  this  trip  to  improve  my  skills  on  this,  but  he  cheated   Thumb Down

I  have  taken  a  few  Landscapes...  the  old  adage  "Good  from  far",  seems  to  hold  good  for  me,  however  I  will  not  continue  with  the  other  half  of  the  phrase   Smile

I  am  trying  to  link  it  via  the  gallery,  so  will  just  be  doing  that  asap.  still  not  sure  how  to  do  it   Smile

I  brought  one  net  and  took  back  the  same,  dont  have  anything  else  with  me.  I  however  loved  the  blue  short  handle  net  of  Mr.  Madan.  Sir  where  did  you  get  it  done?  The  frame  was  very  strong  and  the  size  was  ideal  in  most  waters...  that  happens  my  most  successful  net  as  well...  hope  you  find  it.

Dinesh  saar...  please  post  the  Red  Claw  Shrimps  asap...  I  simply  loved  the  way  they  look

First  snaps  of  the  guys  I  have  -

Schistura  sp.  still  very  shy  and  wont  leave  that  place  for  me  to  get  better  snaps.  or  else  he  hides  under  couple  of  rocks

 N.  anguilla  (but  these  have  broken  lines)  pretty  small  ones

These  are  housed  in  a  soon  to  be  stripped  down  tank.  Plan  to  shift  them  into  tanks  with  similar  substrate  and  flow  where  they  were  caught.

Yes  Madhu,  north  of  Tirtahalli  towards  nagar.  This  one  seems  to  be  pretty  aggressive.

Deepak,  if  you  have  them  in  numbers  try  going  for  species  tank.   2'x1.5'x1'  or  even  9"  height  is  enough.   You  can  have  them  just  with  sand,  a  sponge  filter  and  a  power  head.   They  will  be  more  than  happy.
And  I  hope  they  are  eating  by  now.
