 Hi  All,

The  following  tank  is  a  new  home  for  my  Breeding  Pair  of  Bolivian  Rams  who  are  in  a  community  tank  along  with  cory's  and  Odessa's

 Tank  size  :  15"  *  11.5"  *  11.5"
 Filteration  :  200lt/hr  Dolphin  HOB
Light  :  2  Clamp  on  Boyu  lights  (11w*2)
 Co2  :  ?
 Plants  :  ?

Want  your  suggestions  on  the  following

   1.   Which  scape  should  I  go  with?
   2.  What  plants  should  I  use  for  the  scape?

I'm  thinking  of  HC  and  e.vivipara  some  ferns  and  weeping  moss.

Waiting  to  hear  your  suggestions  on  the  same.

Here  are  the  pictures  of  the  scape.

 Regards,
 Surya

 Hey  Surya

Nice  pieces  of  Driftwood.  I  liked  the  2nd  one  of  the  lot,  but  i  have  a  feeling  that  the  large  driftwood  on  the  left  can  be  turned  clockwise  in  the  same  position  by  about  45  Degrees.  Cant  tell  for  sure  without  seeing  it  in  person,  will  try  dropping  in  tomorrow  in  case  your  at  home.

 Plants:

Cuba  all  the  way  .....  but  im  too  partial  to  Cuba   Chuckle

Anubias  at  the  base,  near  the  crevices  of  the  driftwoods

 e.vivipara  for  the  background.

Somehow  feel  ferns  will  not  go  with  this  scape

 Thank  you  Seetharam  &  Pramod.

HC  would  look  good  but  it  might  take  some  time  to  grow  the  lawn.  If  I  finalize  on  HC  then  will  grow  it  emersed  and  then  fill  the  tank.

 Regards,
 Surya

Why  don't  you  do  a  split  substrate.  I  have  kept  Bolivian  rams  and  had  them  breed,  they  keep  to  the  bottom  mainly  and  love  to  move  around  a  bit.

With  this  small  a  tank,  filling  it  up  with  plants,  will  deprive  them  of  some  space  to  do  what  they  do.

 Hi  Madan,

I  like  the  idea  of  the  split  substrate.  Thank  you.  Will  go  with  that.

Planning  on  using  minimal  plants.  Pelia  at  the  top  of  the  stump  and  weeping  moss  on  the  middle  portion,to  give  it  a  tree  effect.

If  the  combination  of  pelia  and  moss  doesnot  sound  fine  then  will  choose  one  of  them.  Kindly  share  your  opinion  on  the  same.

As  for  the  little  space  that  I  would  be  using  to  plant,I'm  planning  on  using  Lillaeopsis(Thanks  to  seetharam)

 Regards,
 Surya

 Hi  Harpreet,

Scraped  the  project  as  I'm  making  giving  them  a  dedicated  2  footer  tank.  However  this  tank  is  now  being  used  to  grow  moss's,  anubia'a  and  pelia.

Made  this  a  plant  only  bare  bottom  tank  with  pressurised  co2  .

 Regards,
 Surya
